Not making sales from amazon affiliate program

So I have 45 clicks on Amazon affiliate and no order. I'm really finding this odd because I'm sure these are targeted clicks.

The website is : Own Great Products ( kind of a sales-page for Amazon's new streaming device)

I'm advertising the site on Google with an ad that uses the following sentences :

Title : Fire TV stick streaming

Newest HDTV streaming device by Amazon for only $39 - free 2 day shipping

The people who clicked on this ad were already initially interested in the streaming device and I taught that a good percentage of those that took the next step and clicked on my affiliate link were going to buy something.

Is there something wrong or are people really not buying anything. Please let me know your opinions about this

Thank you

So would it be better if I remove the sidebar, add a navigation bar and link all the web pages together ?

If you're buying traffic, you only want the visitor having access to 1 link -- the link to purchase.

Giving them any other links will let them move off your sales page.

Bury your required links (contact, privacy, terms pages) in a <.small> tag in the footer so they're not a distraction.

Paid traffic is a completely different animal than organic traffic. Organic you want people moving around. Paid you want them stuck either clicking back to leave, closing the page, or buying. In reverse order.

Yeah you're right about about paid search because if I could I would advertise the links directly on Google. Too bad amazon, ebay, google and probably the majority of the other affiliate networks don't allow that.

Organic search does has advantages but I think it takes too long, and could go downhill with a slight algorithm change. What I'm basically trying to achieve is a sort of multiplication effect where I can spend a $1 on google and earn atleast $2 from the affiliate sites. If I do achieve this then I'm done for life as I'll throw $100 a day and double them each time

Sorry about the previous reply. I misunderstood the message and that's actually great advice. So I should only show the paid search visitors 1 link and limit their options as much as possible. Thanks

First off, your site made my computer freeze up. Second, it took too long to load up and that is a major sin. Third, it was not optimized for use on multiple screens.

However, this is the most important negative- I actually got a stick and it is a piece of junk that belongs in a junkyard sold as scrap. Hard to sell a product if it has poor reviews. Word of mouth is this item is a real dog and you will have a hard time finding a buyer for this loser, so find a winner.

Right now, a red hot category is drone cameras. Those are really moving.

So did your computer really freeze ? It's only in html. Doesn't even have JavaScript or anything. Haha that would mean that I got hacked or hostgator is screwing with me. Also what could I do reduce loading time and how do I thank you and the others that posted a reply ( official warrior forum thanks) ?

If you got rid of the sidebar you would increase the trust pretty quickly. Limit the outbound links if you're paying for traffic.

Is that the only keyword you're bidding on?

Thanks I'll try getting rid of the sidebar, hopefully It'l make it better. I only chose it cause it was pre-set Dreamweaver theme seemed good enough.

Also the keyword I'm bidding on is "ebay". You should try it. In some states it's as low as 9c a click

As far as making sure your site(s) is optimized, test your site and fix the problems:
    https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
Yahoo also has an optimization checker called YSlow. The Chrome plugin seems to work best.
You can also use feedthebot.com which is also very informative.

If you wonder if your site may have malware try https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/ and Online Virus Scanner - Scan Links for Malware, Trojans and Viruses Ignore their attempt to upsell you, if you want.

Why are you bidding on the keyword "ebay". What has that got to do with the Fire TV stick?

It was on Amazon's best sellers list so I figured that a good % of people on eBay were looking for similar things too. It did somehow get clicks though

Hey sorry about not replying, but i had some assignment deadlines and ended up spending time on reddit instead ignoring all types of work. haha

Yeah you and the other person that commented below are right. I paid someone from fiverr to make me an affiliate site , and even though I'm not expecting much from $5 , atleast I'll have a decent layout. Thanks for your help and concern

    Try bidding on keywords like

    "chromecast"
    "apple tv"
    "roku"
    "now tv"
    "matchstick"

They're your product's competitors. People typing 'ebay' into the search box are looking for a lazy way to get to ebay.com, probably not a bit interested in your TV stick. That's a hard sale to convert.

Huh. those seem like good keywords. Thanks for the advice . I just thought since I can't use the keyword Amazon , I'd use the competitor's as these are actually looking to buy stuff. Didn't seem to work though

Download Fresh key it extremely powerful tool that you can search Google,Bing, yahoo,YouTube,Amazon,Wikipedia all at once to see exactly whta people are searching as of the time you search.

It helped me a lot in knowing what to optimize my products for.

    Cheers Jeremy

Clicking to your site brought me to a "File Not Found" page which did, at least, have some illustrated links to other pages on your site. I took the first link, to a Samsung tablet page, and saw that it was simply a sales page, perhaps taken from Samsung's site or one of their brochures.

I doubt you'll get many people to purchase the products you're promoting if that's all you're doing. People interested in buying any given product usually want to read a good review of it, rather than another sales page. Having a few good reviews on your site, pointing out one or two negatives about the product as well as all the good features, and discussing what kind of person(s) it suits best, is a much better method of earning those commissions, and helping people at the same time.

    1) you are sure your click are targeted, i hope you ensure to direct clicks in the same targeted page,
    with taht specity product.

    2) 45 click are not a big number of click before knowing if your strategy does works.

    3) Your site is not very good looking, you should ordinate your icons
