MBP Ping Optimizer Malfunctioning

Warriors:

I have been having problems on multiple blogs with MBP Ping Optimizer. On a couple of
blogs about a week ago the plugin stopped pinging with new posts. On a few other blogs
the results of pings not showing and on another blog when I go to settings page to check things all I get is a blank page? Does anyone have any ideas? Do you know of any paid or alternative plugins tat work with WP 2.8.1.

I've had it malfunction several times, and rather than trying to figure out a solution or trying to re-install it I just go to Settings/Writing and scroll to the bottom and you can add your ping list manually. There was a thread some months back on a ping list (some sites submit to the same ping sites so be careful not to "spam" those sites). Here's what I use and Google, Yahoo, MSN (usually eventually shows up) and a few other searchengines show up. I usually submit to pingler.com and feedage.com as well (when I remember)
