How do I setup a payment system on my site?

Hi
I am struggling right now, I have to set up a paypal system on my site so i can accept payments and then after the person purchases they get redirected to the thank you page and download page.

how do i do that?

When you are creating the Paypal button, you can add the "thank you page " URL at Step 3 and that will direct a successful paying client to your page. Once you created that button than get the code from the screen and link it to your button.

Not sure what platform you are on but if its WordPress there are many themes that have payment integration for Paypal and more. An example would be OptimizePress.

Is your website made in HTML, or using a free CMS like Wordpress? Just as nrb said, if you're using Wordpress then there are tons of free plugins (WooCommerce, EasyDigitalDownloads..etc) that you can install to make this very simple.

  Do you have to use paypal specifically? Or can you use a platform like JVZoo that uses Paypal but gives you everything that you need to get a product up and running and gives you the ability to redirect, etc? Paypal by itself is somewhat of a pain unless you are planning on only selling 1 product (just my opinion).
