PPL and PPD

Hello warriors.

I am super new here and also IM scene as well.
About 10 years ago, I tried many different "online money making systems" but nothing really worked out for me. To make long story short, I'd like to get into IM once again but I will take it more seriously this time. Recently I did some homework on PPL and PPD and it seems like bing PPC can generate some income for me. I am not just here to take your sources and walk away but I really want to be a part of this forum and hopefully come back here with "I finally made my first income online or I finally make $100/day" soon. Could you guys please share some sources or your stories with me? I am also willing to take several courses if I need to.

Thanks.

  • Is anyone there??
  • Well, I am not that experienced either but I can say that most important thing I have found is that all you need is a system that works. Once you have that, making money becomes so much easier.

You really can start making thousands overnight, but the thing is you dont have the knowledge you need to make that kind of money until you work hard and fail time after time after time.
  • I think Pay Per Lead and Pay Per Download are two very different things. Which is it you're looking to promote? I think Pay Per Download stuff does well with some niches, while PPL does well with others.

Also, you mention PPC... Are you looking to get your traffic via PPC? If so, all of it? Or do you have any plans for other types of marketing as well?

    • I read an article the other day regarding bringing in traffic with ppc for ppl or ppd for profit but I do not have clue neither have any plan.. super newbie here I guess.
  • Good stuff. I would avoid PPC for now and concentrate on promoting PPL with free sources of traffic. Tell you why. You'll receive a real education by utilizing free channels and you can then use that knowledge for PPC. If you jump into PPC or media buys right now, you'll likely lose money. My advice: learn the free ropes first, and then expand to the paid. In fact, you may not even wish to do so once you learn how to generate high-volumes of traffic from free sources.

PPL is a good idea, though. I almost always recommend this to my students. Free offers tend to convert easily, pay well, and the relatively quick income generation encourages them, motivates them. In some markets, you should always promote PPL. In others, and when you have more experience, you'll want to consider PPS or revshare. But, like I say, it really depends on the market. It would be a mistake, for instance, to spend the next 10 years promoting dating PPL offers. Your best bet would be PPS (very rarely is it revshare in dating, and for numerous reasons).

If I were you, I'd keep it simple. Just for now. All you want to do at this stage is prove to yourself that you can actually earn money. It's amazing the effect this has when you finally realize it can be done.

A simple model for you to consider:

    1. Blog.
    2. Review Articles.
    3. Viral Articles.
    4. Syndicate your content on socials.
    5. Drive traffic with videos.
    6. Stick to PPLs

I earn anywhere from $1 to $12.50 on free joins. EPCs (earnings per click) range from around 20 cents a click to 4 or 5 dollars (although that's extraordinary outside of PPC, and I usually receive it on foreign offers or micro-markets). Anyway. Consider the above 6 steps. The trick to PPL is to get consistent traffic. After a while, you pretty much know exactly how much you'll earn from certain levels of traffic, since PPLs tend to hit an EPC average on given traffic sources. Just watch for scrubbing and shaving. If you suspect shaving, split test the offer with the same from another network, and use the same exact setup and traffic. If you are being shaved, or you feel you are, swap out the offer with another. Continue doing that until your EPC is consistent.

    • Hi Tom,

Thank you for your post. Can you share some sources for PPL websites. For what niches PPL model works best?
