VERY NEW TO MARKETING please help

Hello,

I am trying to market my eCommerce site in order to get traffic. The right kind of traffic. Targeting automotive motorsport (Focused on Drifting and Drag racing) I seem to be doing well on facebook using just word of mouth and getting on average 600 visitors a day on my site. I know this number can be bigger and I need to focus now on the conversion.

Can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction?

Hi, you might want to join TuneZup, It's a social network for Performance and tuning.
Like Facebook you can create your page, but you can also add your products to the marketplace, add links etc etc.

It's free to use, so have a go at it.

PPC is the perfect type of traffic for this site. Did you try Adwords?

I have tried adwords in the past to when the site wasn't fully complete. The issue is at the budget. My PPC with Facebook is about $0.09 per click while adwords is somewhat expensive. (its expensive because im learning, if i knew how to use it Strategically then the price wouldn't matter.)

  • Focus on compounding your website visits.

    By building a email list.
Focus on turning visitors into leads, then making sales

adding sales to your back end by offering an upsell will allow you to pay more per click and still make a profit

lack of specificity in the market

the ad needs to be targeted very tightly at the offer

I guess that beginner would not do detailed Keyword research and therefore use some general keywords. Also, I guess (again) that beginner would use only those standard campaign types, standard Search Campaign for example and miss those dynamic types.

My suggestion is that If you need instant traffic then buy it. Make a facebook fan page. Buy Likes for your page and update your page regularly with the new products and deals etc. Also run campaigns to send traffic directly to your website. Don't forget to capture the email addresses of your visitors. Give them some incentive like 10% off on their first order when they subscribe.

Then regularly email them about deals, sales and promotions.

  • UPDATE:
Okay, so I implemented a sign up form but i No one has signed up yet.

    The current strategy

Share articles on facebook twitter instagram
as user clicks through, they see "Save 10 % on Parts"
They Click and enter on the form.

Not too many people have signed up. What should I do to entice them more to get them to sign up? Any advice?
