    Hi Kitiemau...

There is more to consider than simply how much traffic you will get from the search engine for posting 1000 articles.

    Ask:
How Valuable are your articles for the search engine to think its a good decision to display it to searchers seeking information?

When a visitor reads your article would they be motivated to pass on this valuable information they have received to others?

How much competition do you have in your market?

Why would the search engine think its a better decision to display your articles instead of those of your competitor?

Are your articles covering content that real people are actually searching for?

Does your competitors also have 1000's of articles with backlinks and other signals indicating their authority and reason to display their content instead of yours?

The search engines have been spending years in order to master the results that they display for their users and they continue to release updates for this purpose. It would be nice to say... if I upload 1000 articles on my site I will get 500 hits monthly but there's more to consider.

probably 0. You might get 1 or 2...

You need write quality articles not just jiberish to get people to your site cause even if they do come over they aren't going to take any action.

You should do some backlinking to your articles with a mix of social signals.

Why spend all the time posting the articles if you aren't going to follow though?

That is one of the biggest challenges I see in this industry is people following through. As soon as they don't get the instant gratification then they move. soooo close but yet because of the mindset they are sooooo far away.

A handful of well written, engaging, informative articles of around 1,000 words each, posted on your own website, will be of much better value to you than 1,000 pieces of poorly written rubbish.

If you think quantity will serve you better than quality, you are living in the past. Following Google's various algorithm updates, 1,000 rubbish articles will never even see the light of day.

Number of articles doesn't mean much. Quality means a lot, and even more important is the keywords you target and using proper on-site SEO.

All depends on the quality of the articles. You can get traffic in different ways from quality articles. They will begin to rank in the search engine also you will find that those who enjoy reading your articles will share them so you will get traffic from that as well.

Probably not much if they are all garbage.

If they are high quality original and offer value then tons.... especially if you focus on syndication after it is indexed from your site.

Quality over quantity will get you further in this and almost every action online. IMO

Where would you be posting them at? On your site? On an article directory?

You'd probably make a ton of money by taking your 1000 articles and repurposing them as 1000 EMAILS for your opt-in email newsletter, and let it and the autoresponder close your subscribers on your product.

The content has to be good though.

Posting 1000 of articles without backlink building is really worth to attract good number of traffic to your site, but you have to consider good quality articles which are not copy/paste and the articles should be informative so that your reader stay on the article for a long time and thus google will send you more and more organic traffic...

While I agree with most of what's been posted here. I've seen complete jibberish articles put on expired domains with high authority ranking for moderately competitive terms. Most likely they are using PBNs in their linkiing mix.

I am NOT recommending the following site. Just showing you an example.

    Krankitup.info

    A .info domain to boot.

It depends on the quality of your content. If the content is good, you may get a good traffic otherwise, you may not get good result. You should do some SEO.

    Hi Kitiemau,

You better consider trying to invest some money in ads instead of relying on articles and SEO. There are some advantages with these approach:

    1. Trying to rely on SEO you will have to wait a lot of time to find out if your articles are actually working. Too much effort on writing, etc.
    2. If you can invest some money on a certain campaign, like FB for example (this is only one example), you immediately get the results of your campaign and if you look carefully, you can tune it, one piece at a time until you get a very profitable ad. You will have control of the people you want to become your audience, which leads to get targeted traffic. It is not about having traffic, but good quality traffic.
    3. In general, I like paid traffic because I have total control of what I am doing and when you have the control, you have the power. What you can measure, you can improve quickly and you can only do this through paid traffic.

    Regards,
    Marco

A recent study conducted by Harvard community college concluded that 1 article generates 172 initial uniques, received after the initial post, and an average of 37 daily uniques over the proceeding 3 months. 1,000 articles will therefore generate 37,000 daily uniques to your website.

    There's your answer!

If your articles are of high quality, good length (700-1000+ words) and are solving some issues of readers then 1000 articles should bring you at least 1000-5000+ visitors per day. But if your articles are of no value then you cannot expect anything from them.

1000 articles doesn't expand the much traffic, it could be qualified and exceptional. The magnificence of being extraordinary is that you ought not so much stick to the most common way to go.

    Rofl ^^

Did someone make a bot to auto post to the warriorforum? It sure looks like it from that post! That reads like the typical spam comments I get on my unprotected Wordpress sites!

To actually answer your question, 1,000 quality, keyword-targeted, somewhat lengthy articles added to your site will, on average, net you 1 to 2 visitors per day, per article. The factors that influence whether this number goes up or down are time the site has been indexed in google, how many strong backlinks the site has and how long those links have been pointing at the site.

The age of each article itself is also important -- the longer an article is indexed in Google the more weight Google gives the article, so it's able to rank for more queries, thus, getting more traffic.

There is also the 80/20 rule, which will cause a smaller percentage of those articles to get significantly more visitors per day than the rest. You will have a little bit larger percentage of the articles that will bring in an average number of visitors per day, and many articles will bring in almost no extra visitors.

However, on average, assuming you have "OK" stats for the above-mentioned variables, I would say, as a whole, 1,000 quality articles will net you 1-2 visitors, per article, per day.

EDIT: this answer is based on my personal experience.
