For affiliate marketing just know that there are many coaches that are good and some that are not. For someone new, it can be overwhelming so what I would do is look for a book on Amazon.com.

    Type in:

    Affiliate marketing

This will give you a list of some of the best coaches out there.

There is one book I really like. It is called:

How I made my first million online and how you can too by Ewen Chia.

It is at least 7+ years old but I think it gives you the ins and outs of affiliate marketing.

Really? The "blackhat coaches" are not all the salt of the Earth? How very shocking!

Agreed! Blackhat is NOT the way to go if you are wanting to build a sustainable business. Find a proven method that is known to work and stick to that.

Sure, it will take hard work to build it, but in the end it will all be worth it.

Agree totally with wesleywinter. As I'm sure most (all?) of us do.

The 2 main troubles with BH:

      - Unstable
      - Unethical

You can put your heart and soul into an operation only to have the rug pulled out from under you. On top of that, business ethics go out the window.

I understand why BHers do what they do. I don't approve. Just understand. The trouble is, newbies see it as an "easy option." It totally isn't. You're so limited when it comes to BH.

OP : stick to a white hat approach and thank me (everyone else) later. As far as coaches go: I like the suggestion to read a few books / e-books.

The trick to finding a good is more than just finding someone who "knows their stuff" and who's honest. The trick is knowing which area of affiliate marketing (or whatever) interests you most, which area you feel most capable of doing the most, and choosing the right coach for the job.

And quite often, a coach isn't even required. I never had a coach. I learn by the following:

      1. Reading free information.
      2. Taking action.
      3. Learning from my mistakes.
      4. Buying products.
      5. Buying access to private forums and groups.
      6. Networking.
      7. Friends.

In my opinion, the two best coaches to learn from are called trial and error. You can read up on marketing till your hair turns grey, but if you don't put what you read to the test, you're not gonna make much progress.

Indeed, having a mentor to help steer you in the right direction can be very beneficial, but it's when you're making your own mistakes you REALLY learn.

    Hello,
if you want to build a great business, Blackhat is not the best mode; there are much better systems.
Of course the first thing is to understand which area of internet marketing are you interested.
