How to sell a video course?

Hi, I've finished my video course. The course is composed of 18 videos. The total course has 12 Gb but if the file are zipped it's 2.2 Gb. i would create a membership site and the customers can see the video in streaming. How can i create a membership site with optmizepress? How can i can protect my video? How can I upload my video? (wordpress allows to upload maxiun 100 mb per file)

    OptimizePress already comes with the ability to create membership sites...

    It's something like WishList member you'll want to combine it with.

    You could always host your videos on YouTube (for free)...

    Or use a solution like Amazon S3 and upload them to that.

    s2member is what I've been using with Optimizepress for years.

    Free option for hosting videos is Youtube/Vimeo, unlisted, and embed them in your site.

    Amazon S3 is more secure but costs a little $$.

    There is no true security. If someone wants to steal & share your content they'll find a way. You can make it more time-consuming, challenging, irritating, but you can't stop them.

    You can use Youtube and Vimeo that are free of charge, but in no way will be safe ....

    You have a few options:

    1) Offer 1 big "zip" file download for 2.2GB, or... offer each video as an individual download. In fact you should probably do both.

    2) Protecting your video... consider something like DL Guard. But depending on your customers' internet provider and speed.... you may have to leave the download limit open for about 3-4 days (assuming if you use DL Guard)

    3) At the end of the day, once your customers get their hands on your product... there's no telling what the heck they might do with it.

    These people might create a related course, and offer your video course as a FREE download! LOL i've seen this happen man!

    Don't destroy yourself over this dilemma. First put it into motion to see if it's receptive to your audience, and if it's making money. If it is, then focus on tightening security on it.

    Oh, and consider FTP for uploading. I like Filezilla. Hopefully your individual links are small. You may have to use an outside source like MediaFire to host your videos, then just link to it via your download page.

    Optimize Press with Wishlist is a good combination - we have had some of our clients set that combination up for sure.

    Another option is to host your video course on platform like Yescourse or Udemy where they either charge monthly fee or percentage of sales to cover various aspects of hosting and delivering your course - my sense is that these will become much more common in the next year as it takes much of the hassle from hosting and delivering courses off of the publishers and will themselves become a hub for affiliates and partners as well as customers to find your material.

    Your thread's title should be 'How Do I Deliver My Video Course?'.
    If you want to make a member site with optimizepress, the theme itself has a step-by-step guide to set up everything, there are tons of video tutorials and they offer support. For technical advices I suggest you to post this kind of questions on the Programming forums.

    But you can easily host your videos on YT, set them to private and embed them on your member site.
