Main focus list building no site?

INTERNET MARKETING

I have a youtube channel about personal development and a site as well. I have 1 article published on the site and haven't really worked on it to much. Im really focused and devoted to learning program, but I still would like to have my personal development brand as well. With the site I was thinking of putting a opt in page and my sales page for consulting/coaching while building traffic from youtube and ads to build my email list with no blog posting. Would this be a good idea?

Youtube is a great way to drive targeted traffic. Video seems more and more like the way to go. I would recommend you make more videos and have each video lead back to your opt in page. I would also recommend you using FaceBook and Twitter as part of your marketing efforts.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Go and make it happen. I'm a big fan of paid advertising. But as soon as you start building up that list... make sure you start promoting to them right away.

You can embed your videos onto your blog.

I would at least post 1-2 new blog posts per month (like I said, you can embed your video into a blog post and write a paragraph or some bullet points to go along with it).

It only takes 5 minutes to do it, and in the future when you want to promote your blog more, you'll have a consistent archive of posts that will help pre-sell your coaching services.
