what are the best places to put your money to increase traffic?

I'm not selling products on my site , and I want to find the best way of increase traffic, my niche is stocks and forex trading ...what are the best places to put your money ?

Facebook ads, Twitter, guest on stocks and forex blog posts or Any other ways ..what do you think?

my website Top Forex Brokers is about listing stocks and forex trading brokers specially UK , US and Australian brokers and well design and seo but i want to increase targeted traffic and make the site sticky .

how can i increase targeted traffic of my site by Free or Paid ?

      thank you but in know i can use adwords and other advertising networks but i am looking to do my site sticky to the visitors..but only submitting articles dose not help i must find a way to promote articles, so how can do it ?

      i prefer to promote my site by publishing articles in top sites like for example BBC or other medias ... is that good way ?

    Learn it, start off with small campaigns and learn from your mistakes. Then work on it until you master it! And don't jump around from traffic source to traffic source. Stay focused!

    The best place to put your money is in quality content. Until that's taken care of, spending money anywhere else is 100% useless.

    For example, your intro paragraph on your homepage reads-

    Forex Brokers act as the connection medium between the buyers and sellers in any business. The buyers and sellers are the two parties in a business deal with whom the brokers have to communicate. Forex Brokers talk in favor of both parties to settle a deal and in return the commission decided early in the deal goes to the brokers.
    All three sentences say exactly the same thing- forex brokers negotiate between two parties. Anyone visiting your site would already know that though, so you're already alienating your ideal buyers right off the bat. The only other content you have is that long explanation at the bottom of the homepage and it's definitely not noticeable with all the brightly colored ads on every side of it.

    Once again- focus on your core content before spending any money advertising. Tell people why they should trust you. Show why your brokers are better than others. Stuff like that makes all the difference in the world, but your site is 100% about sales instead.

    I would agree with KK075. Quality core content is so important, especially in Forex which is really competitive. This not only is beneficial for the user experience but also Google with love you and with time you'll get better organic (free ) traffic as well. Good luck.

      here are 2 problems:
      1- how to create such that content as i dont have time to do it by myself ? .. there are writers from $5 to $100, which one you choose $5 to write more content or $100 to write less but quality one ?

      2-i dont think so making content is enough, i need to promote it also..how do it ?

        Facebook is really a good source of traffic, but there might be some limitations if you want to drive directly traffic to your webpage advertising profits. You can try with native ads - send traffic to some of your best Forex articles and make people to join your list for more information or give them something else for free. Then, build relationship with them and do everything else related to email marketing.

        The other traffic source which I would recommend you to use is Bing ads. You can get very cheap clicks if you know how to optimize your campaigns, but the most important part is ROI. If you know how to seduce people on your landing page, both traffic sources will give you good ROI. So, don't focus on the price, focus on the ROI.

          thank you for your suggestion but i tried both facebook and Bing but unfortunately i didnt get any traffic or leads i expected

    It depends on your business model. Until you find a working business model that is profitable, you should not put any major amount of money into any traffic generation source. You should instead by putting small amounts of money into testing traffic sources until you find one that can make a profit.

    You asked where to get good content. I personally use textbroker and pay about 20 bucks for a high end 800-900 word article. I totally understand that this may be out of your budget but basically 2.5 cents per word is a loose general cost template for something reasonable. hope this helps.

    Figure out who your ideal customer is...

    Find where they hang out or congregate...

    Pay to bring them into your sphere of influence...

    If you know who your indirect competitors are pay them for a mailing... If there is a forum they are in pay for a banner ad... if you can easily target them on facebook give it a try and test, test, test everything...

    We can all sit here giving advice but the best teacher would be if you put up some money and get results. Pay for data then tweak until you are profitable.

    You might hear that PPC is the best solution for getting targeted traffic on your specific keyword and that's quite good but do use multiples platforms like Adwords, Facebook, Linkedin Pulse and etcetra because putting all eggs in one basket is quite dangerous in some situations.

    Test multiple and then highlight the platform which gives you maximum number of leads or sales.

    You might want to try banner ads, text ads or pay for a post on a related blog or forum.

    You may even try an offline ad, either display ad or classified ad in a related magazine for investors.
