Cross Promoting on Reddit

I'm in the process of writing an article which will give away 20 free 'logos' for for use in fantasy football leagues. Each logo will have a short parody write-up.

Since this will be a long and expensive article, I'd like to promote it on Reddit. But what I was thinking of doing was posting each logo, one at a time (maybe 2 per week), leading up to the NFL season. I could use the feedback to tighten-up the content portion of the article and I think the Reddit users would appreciate the free graphics.

I'm curious of the best way to approach this from a marketing and SEO perspective. I don't want Reddit to be the #1 search engine result when people search for these logos by name, but if I post the parodies to Reddit first Google may see my article (and imagery) as duplicate content. But if I post my article first, it sorta ruins the idea of posting the logos one by one as the season approaches.

Any suggestions for a proper way to roll this out?
