My First TeeSpring Campaing

Hello All Warriors,

I made my first tshirt design to sell over teespring, as far as I can see that selling is not that good as in 2014 is that right?

So what do you recommend me. I've got shirt already made with facebook page 0 likes.

I made 2 posts and I'll made A/B test. To each add I'll give 5€ + 5€ to second add and then I'll see results.

So if I get better results on "A" add I'll increase little money to 10€ / day.

So I've got few questions....

1) Which advertising to use?
2) Is 5€ enough to test which ad is better and increase for 5€ only one add then.

Any kind of recommendations, tips and trick are more than welcome.

Thank you for your help.

I normally start with $10 to test my ads. Then I optimize my ads as I get results.

Thanks for your reply. I'm actually little nervous. This will be my first camping.

How can you know how much to give price for t-shirt. 19.95$ is quite allot, but it's also picture on t-shirt.

So after spending 10$ for advertising... How do you know if it's worth or not worth.

Isn't better to have A add and B add (two different) ads and to each I would give 5$ and see how it goes?

  • I would usually start with $10 - $20, that's probably a better test.

    Hi Springy,

I've done a few tee spring campaigns this year and done pretty well. Helped me earn a couple thousand dollars in a little over a month's time.

I always choose "Increase Conversions" as the objective. And agree with globalexperts on the $10 to test.

    Good luck to you!
Hope you're having a productive day! Remember, take action & keep at it!! You can do this!

I agree with other people in that 5Euro isn't very much. Go with $10-$20 and you should be able to get a much better idea. Have you considered Facebook Ads? Your page has zero likes right now so promoting a status update might not really work. Once you start building some likes then you should use the Promote Post option as opposed to their PPC ads.. Just my opinion!

I've got this page with 0 likes, but I've got one page with 2200 likes and I usually get 10-15 likes/day, because I try to post daily most interesting posts. So maybe I should go If I'll fail to that kind of "niche" because it's different.

Damn I'm quite "nervous" I'm only 18 and I don't have much money to spend... that's why in some way I don't want to fail, but if I'll fail I'll learn something from that

    Thanks all for helping me.

It doesn't matter how many fans you have on your page. You will be sending traffic to your shirt via Facebook ads. Your likes will grow as you advertise more. There are so many methods but what you need to know is you most likely aren't going to sell a ton your first try. Not to be a downer but this business requires a lot of time and money. You can get lucky but again I wouldn't count on it.

You need a very good design and you need to spend a lot of time researching interests to find your target audience. I recommend learning about "audience insights'

I always start with 4 interests at $5/each per day. So basically $20 for the day. After one day what you want to do is look at your data and see if you have sales and if so you want to increase your budget the next day a little bit. If you have no sales then I usually kill it and launch a new shirt. Sometimes you may have a lot of comments and shares and in this case I may let it go another $20. Sometimes it takes time for the ads to work.

Now the most popular ad type is Page Post Engagement. This means you post an image of the shirt on your fan page and then create an ad promoting that post. There are many other things you need to know as well like conversion pixels, custom audiences, look a like audiences and much more.

But if you just want to get your feet wet I would recommend using Teechip because they don't have a 3 shirt minimum like Teespring does. So even if you sell 1 at least you will get some of your ad money back. If you find a winner that sells well you can always launch a campaign on Teespring as they have the best customer service and are the most well known. They also just came out with their own tshirt which is really nice.

Just to give you an idea of what kind of money it takes to do well in this business. I spent $10,000 in 3 months to make $15K profit or 25K in sales. If I didn't spend that much money there is no way I would have been able to sell so many shirts.

    Hope this helps.
