Selling WSO without proven results? Who you buy?

I feel like I'm focusing to much on this and it's really holding me back from releasing this project.

Been researching this question and haven't found a lot of answers on it within the forum.

How would you answer the question below related to entering a new market/niche for the first time with little proven success?

My question is answering the question "Why should I listen to you"?
What makes you an authority on this subject? If you are not a successful, why should we buy this?



My situation is related to this question:
  1. I've been researching a niche and want to release a wso type solution to their problem.
  2. I've done a ton of research to solve a lot of their problems and issues these people are having.
  3. I have the answers to their questions, but I have no proven experience in this field.
  4. This is more of a resource guide type wso for this niche that will direct these people to the resources they need to solve their problem.

    If you are providing the solution that they need, they will buy it. You don't have to be a professional in it. All you need is to behave like it. See how authority figures or experts write descriptions, how they behave with customers. All you need is to built a trust. Thats all. Nothing more , nothing less.

        That's the answer you want to hear. In reality it's an awful advice. There is one good piece of advice which is that you do need to build trust. But you will not build it by pretending to be someone who you aren't.

        Oh wait, on this forum, perhaps you will.

        Edit: Having expressed my opinion, I'd like to add that nothing should hold you back from releasing your product and tell exactly what it is. Ie. "I 've compiled a list of resources. I haven't tried them myself, but they should do the trick for you."
        I don't see any problem with that.

      I could spend the next few hours researching one "problem" or another...and come up with a report on "how to solve the problem".

      I wouldn't - because all I would be doing is parroting what I learned. I don't know if the solutions work because I haven't tried them. The same "sources" I refer people to are ones they could easily find on their own....and I have no way of knowing how credible those sources are.

      In the end, I might be selling a product that refers people to other "info" products and sites created in the same way (writing what you find online rather than what you know from experience).

      Would I do it? No. But I only have to meet the standard I set for myself. Not up to me to say what others can/can't do. There are niches where knowing all the info and gathering it into one "product" would be helpful for buyers and they could be happy with the WSO for that reason.

      When you sell a product you put your credibility on the line. That's why YOU have to decide if you know enough to 'teach' in the niche...or not.

      Generally true, but if you have name recognition as putting out quality and in demand information then you will likely sell a lot more. This has been seen over and over.

    It's all about how you position yourself as an expert. My first WSO made $3k, $2k of which I got to keep after payout out affiliates.

    If you know more about a subject than your customer, or even just making more money than them, you are in a position to sell your information.

    on my offers wso and not i sometimes not give any prof and i still selling...sometimes you just need to start, then when u make the first sales you can ask to the buyers an honest review and put it strait away into your sales page... it works as charm!

      as for the "reviewers">>>mostly I see them begging and promising a good review so they can collect another "report" or "plan" that they won't implement

        I think when selling something to someone, you should ask, "would I want to buy this?"

    If the solutions you provide to the problems you faced earlier, why would they be termed as "not proven"?

    I believe you have a good product on hand. But important is to network and build trust amongst some affiliates so that you can have more people promoting for you.

    A good product does not necessarily guarantee good sales (though some come out really well), it has to have good marketing too.

    Why don't you do the research, create the product, then implement it to test the results...

    You could then provide a case study of your solution to the problem, either proving its effectiveness, or showing where it fails.

    Frequently, case studies are just as, or more, valuable than your WSO product.

    It depends on what your buyers are expecting

    If they want case studies, don't do it.

    However, if they just want INFORMATION gathered in one place, you might be able to do it.

    Personally, I wouldn't.

    I focus on delivering actual VALUE.

    Are you a virgin?....hmmm.... probably not.

    Are these the questions you had to answer before you lost your virginity? That's the lesson right there in and of itself.

    The best way to prove that you can solve the problem that they want to solve.

    For example, if they have a problem getting good open rates, you can share a simple before/after story about your open rates, and they will buy

    Or leverage other peoples authority, by saying...

    I've learned from guru's like 'Famous Guru's your audience knows'

    Yeah....why should I listen to you?

    Lots of pie in the sky ideas....it is easier to foist them off on the "Intenet marketing" crowd...

    "offline" ideas? so many you can tell the people are not really doing this stuff

    even funnier are the "reviewers"...old guy in a dirty kitchen, why would anyone listen to him, how did he get to be an internet expert haha?

    Pretty sad when people who were never able to make money online resort to selling a "report" to tell others "how to do it"..pretty sad
