Real estate niche??

So I'm apart of several local buy/sell/trade and real estate groups on Facebook with 15,000 members + on each, and I'm moving out of a 2/2 apartment of mine... I took pictures and had a nice description of the place, move in cost etc and my Facebook BLEW up...

I have over 60 messages in my inbox to go through and over 75 likes on one of my posts with people interested in the place.

Something like this got my attention so quickly and it kept me VERY busy for 2-3 hours, answering questions and taking calls.

Is this some kind of sign to try and use real estate as a niche in some way?

    Im not familiar with real estate affiliate programs. I think it would be hard to get a comission from real estate.

    You could signup for some real estate affiliate programs that you could send your leads to. I have done some of these offers with MaxBounty and Commission Junction.

      It's a sign of something. It's up to you to dig further at the following:
      • What's attracting them for the most part? Curiosity, Passing interest or desire to act?
      • If it's desire to act, can you monetize it and duplicate it again. For example, or do you just have that one apartment to sell with the benefits that attracted them?
      • Do you know exactly what you did to attract so much interest and can you duplicate it or even better scale up?

      These are questions you need to have answers to in order to move forward intelligently - as opposed to half-cocked.

    Yes you should, if you're getting traffic and views from real estate exploit the niche, even do it locally because i'm guessing that you're in the buy swap sell pages and they're local pages?

    Could even start your own self business model and seek clients to do what you've done for yourself for them.

    Commission can be huge in the real estate business.

    There's just so many people around here looking for places to rent.

    I could get people to move in these places and I could get a commission or something couldn't I? Wonder if I would have to see a real estate company or if I can just do it solo

      You can't collect a commission unless you're licensed.

        Are you talking about a rental apartment? Or are you selling a unit you own?:

        To sell real estate - You have to know the state laws - pass the exam - pay the fees to get a license AND be affiliates with a real estate company. Each state has it's own laws about RE sales and contracts and advertising and commissions.

        Rental apts are usually handled by a managment company or an apt manager who is an employee of the owner.

        I sold a lot of real estate at one time and one thing never changes...people are always "interested". They want to know more - they get really excited...and they usually disappear after that. Real estate is a lot like IM - people LOVE to talk about it but, most of the time, it's only talk.

      Yes you could do that for a commission. Atleast in my state, you'd need a brokers license though.
