Should you delete inactive/dormant subscribers?

Hey Warriors,

I have about 200 subs on my list that are unresponsive/ dormant. none of them have ever opened an email from me. I'm pretty good at generating new subscribers daily so 200 isn't a big loss, but should delete them? If I did I would lose that business forever, so what should I do?

Thank in advanced!

Yep I agree, get rid of them. If you are getting fresh subscribers every day two hundred isn't a big deal. If they have been on your list for that long, and haven't opened anything you aren't losing much.

Have to also agree with everyone else here. Those are likely people who just signed up wanting something free. If you're using a service like aWeber or MailChimp those subscribers may be costing you money to email them. Drop them and get them replaced with someone who's actually going to be a potential customer!

I do not agree. Human mind is very dynamic. It is formed through the company a human keeps. If a person is not showing interest now that does not mean they will never show any interest. May be some of them experience something in their life which changes their perception towards IM. 200 is big number and considering law of averages you need as many subscribers as u can.

The only problem is the increased subscription fee which u hav to pay to autoresponder companies but if your business is fine then 200 will not impact that much on your profit. Better u can get a service which offers flat rate for any number of subscribers u hav (I use one) but thats a diff matter.

What is the your loss on keeping them in your list? I believe nothing. So I suggest keep them and broadcast your mails as usual. Whether those 200 see or not it doesn't matter for you as u are anyways fine with deleting them. If they fortunately hav a look and get attracted, it can only mean ur profit.

    Wish you luck!
