New program for affiliates

My company is putting me in charge of rolling out our affiliate program. meridiandebtrelief dot com /info /affiliates dot html I would really love to have a professional opinion from warriors here about the best way to go about rolling it out. We are paying higher per client sign up than any other company like ours from the research I have done.
I am new to IM but not new to offline marketing so I have a good idea to get this rolling but getting it into the hands of Internet Marketers is exciting but I want to do it right.
