Where to find good and hard working VA's?

Hi there, looking for good places to find quality virtual assistants.
Preferable from the Philippines, heard that they are really good workers.

Someone great at lead generation, native english speaker with the ability to contact construction companies, running a CRM and that's all to a affordable price.

Where would I find such a person? All leads and resources you can think of are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Uwe

I recommend, Hire the best Filipino employees and virtual assistants the Philippines has to offer!

These are the things I suggest before hiring a VA

    » Short list interested people.
» Give them small related tasks.
» See the difference between the quality of all the work provided.
    » Select the best VA.

Upwork, com formerly oDesk.com and Freelance.com seems to be the place to find VA's

Pretty much everyone I know uses and has been very happy with: http://onlinejobs.ph

One thing you can do is rather than posting a job and getting a bunch of unqualified responses, is search for possible VA's with the requirements you need and contact them. You could also give them specific directions and tasks to do as part of the qualification process and see how well they do.

Well, yes and no, Upwork i only got one person interested, but online jobs.ph is incredible. I have received over 80 mails so far and obviously need to filter that down

Problem is still that i can't figure out a secure way for both parties (my company and the worker) getting handled fair

I assume that some here using VA's out of the philippines, how do they handle payments?

Sorry for asking such "dumb" questions, but i never used VA's before and i need to make sure that i do it as best as possible

          Thanks

There may be an issue with your ad, then. I am both a buyer and a seller there, and there's usually a large number of people wherever I go. If you're comfortable, give the link to your Upwork ad and I'll take a look.

This is a good ad; I was pleasantly surprised. The only thing I would change is to drop all five qualifying questions. Try reposting the ad with no questions and just the (required) cover letter. There's nothing stopping you from asking more questions once you have applicants, and you're never under an obligation to hire anyone.

                  Thanks David

I just removed all the screening questions and hopefully this will get me some results

As well as Upwork.com, you should consider this very forum and others like it. Places like WF are a great source for VAs: lots of potential candidates and you can get a feel for them by checking out their posts.

There are many freelancing market, you can use any site, as you wish. You can use Upwork, elance, freelancer, fiverr. Actually it is not important which site you are using, but if is too much important, which VA you are using. Before hiring any freelancer, you should check their previous work history & feedback. Then you can get a good VA. Thanks.

OK. Also, if you don't get enough results today, one "trick" that I've used is to re-post (not just edit) after midnight or even later. Most Americans have stopped posting by then (less competition) and more folks overseas are awake. The laws of supply-and-demand are more in your favor then.

build a good reputation on upwork.com and you will have no problem finding good help. I can post an ad today and have 70 new applicants in a few hours from now. I really like this site and there are others you see advertised here where you actually have to pay just to get access to potential applicants and I recommend against doing that. You can always re post your job a couple of times until you find the person that works best for you.
