Competitor Website Analysis

I'm looking for ways to analyse my competitors website traffic.

Traffic, time on site, page view, general source of traffic and bounce rate are estimated and supplied by similarweb.com

backlinks can be found through Backlink Checker

What other stats can I find out and where do I get them from?

Most of the "stats" you find will be guesses at best.

Without access to the site's actual log files or analytics - which are likely confidential - then you won't know.

Concentrate on your own site - that takes enough time without trying to guess what's happening behind the scenes elsewhere.

Without a direct insight to their stats, you can't do much.
You can see guessed stats, at best.

Educated guesses are better than nothing at all.

There are services out there that will give more information about competitor websites that can be useful.

You can do pretty well by examining what works for your competition using this excellent tool:

    https://ahrefs.com/

Look at the most shared content and analyse it, you can even see who's linking to that specific content and find other similar minded niche websites.

Create better content than them, then reach out to the sites that are originally linking to it and ask them to review your own copy, you'll get a handful of good quality backlinks!

    * Whatrunswhere - Where they purchase their media

    * SpyFu / Keyword Spy - The keywords they're bidding on

    * Domain Tools - Other websites/landing pages on their server

    Hello,
i want to see which ads are appearing from advertisers from specifically chosen keywords: for example which text ads are appearing for "get your ex back" and who is the advertiser. So i can after that search the advertisers and see which keywords he is using also
Unfortunately you can not search for an ad like that on whatrunswhere
So i wanted to know if there is a platform that have data for text ads in search engine and not only display ads?
    Thank you!

I don't really look at my Analytics details anymore.

How I've grown my site is to add interactive tools and charts that make my site look a lot more interesting than my competitors' sites.

Also if your site isn't responsive and mobile friendly, well you know what you need to do NOW.

Try Moz's Opensite Explorer for the same. I hope you get the information you want using this tool. It is free.

IF you wanted to go for paid one than SEMRush is the best tool to use.
