what i suggest you is to stick with one business only and master it asap, i would advice you list building because is the most profitable, but it requires a little of investment.

writing e-book can help but i actually do not see it as a real online business... just my opinion

Being honest here... I have several PLR products, several Kindle books and a couple of affiliate sites.

Something that only dawned on me (... a proper 'doh!' moment) is that the PLR products are in one niche, the Kindle books are in another niche, the affiliate sites are in different niches (to the products and each other).

Which means I constantly working to appease different markets. With hindsight I should have picked a market -- the same demograph of people -- so I wouldn't have to find new prospects every time. I could have used the same people to cross pollinate (... for want of a better word) the others.

Anyways... get going. And that Gary Halbert quote 'Motion beats meditation' is a cracker.

As you sell your ebooks you build a buyers list. The bigger your list grows the more ebooks you can sell them.

Plus you will have JV's promoting for you.

You have to build a credible online brand-that should be your long term strategy

As for starting an immediate profitable business, that's what we all want to do. It will and can come, but you're going to have to get to work.

Selling eBooks can be a great way to get started, here's some tips:

* Write about subjects that interest you but are helpful to others.
* Don't make them to short and not too long but packed full of QUALITY information
* Set a goal to produce 10 eBooks a month.
* Set a sales goal of 10 copies of each book per month.
* Publish across MULTIPLE distribution platforms (Amazon KDP, Clickbank, iTunes, etc.)
* Have a blog or central website where you can offer downloads or link to your downloads.
* Blog daily to the audience and general and upsell your eBooks at the bottom of your posts.
* Setup a Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIN targeting an audience interested in your books.
* Share your blog posts daily along with a couple of inspiring images / helpful content that your audience will re-share.

Get going on all this and you'll be well on your way to making that $2K a month! Keep costs low and produce A LOT of content.

If you have been around the game for a couple years you already know enough to start making money. Stop allocating time and money buying products and start focusing 100% of your time selling your products. Also, whatever resources you have the most of start in that direction, for example if you own your own products start selling them or if you have a network of a few JV partners leverage them in their specialized markets. Use what you have and start taking action.

I believe the best way to make money yon line is to find a niche market that has a need that you can fill... a problem you can solve i.e. losing weight , or even making money from home for example . do some soul searching and find something you are passionate about . from there , find out if others are interested in the same thing and determine what problem you can solve for them in that arena . For example .. weight loss..or making money on line . You have studied this subject for longer than most people , if you can focus on teaching people how to make money on line you will have a ready made audience .. share your journey with them and offer solutions via e books. I don't really recommend you to try to sell your own ebooks just yet - there is a lot more work behind all that. What you should actually do, since you are starting out, is learn about affiliate marketing and make some good money selling other people's products first.

Once you have a good amount of money, then you can go big launching your own infoproducts online. And you can scale up a lot faster, and bigger with some capital coming in.

What you can actually do, with your ebooks, is use them as Lead Magnets to help you build a targeted list.

You should also keep learning about email marketing, and how to build a great relationship with your leads. The money is not just in the list, it is actually in the RELATIONSHIP you have with your list.

In other words, the money is in the quality of your list! ...

I have met people making a few thousands from email list that are in the 900+ ... How? ... well, they truly understand this simple concept - the money is the relationship you build with your list!

This is why you have to keep it real with your leads. And be as genuine as possible. Truly care about them, and lead with value. Offer more value than sales pitches. If you do this, you will get very good conversion rates.

Most people online, just sell sell sell to their list - and get very low conversion rates. You have to flip that around!

I mean, would you rather make 5 sales out of 1,000 people or 5 sales out of 100 people?

It would take you a lot less time to build a list of 100+ people - than a list of 1,000.

I'm sorry about your situation. As someone born with a disability (Cerebral Palsy), I know those medical bills (and all that goes with it) can be insane. The fastest way to get something going is by preforming some kind of service like ghostwriting, where you're able to get paid via Paypal. You can either get paid for publishing content to sites or by being a ghostwriter for other marketers. Writer Help Wanted (.com) by Ron Douglas and Alice Seba is good for this.

After you get steady money coming in from that, you can focus on getting some sites up and running. The review site model works best, especially for this time of year when there are gong to be lots of products coming out. You could start out by promoting a product that you already own and know about. Just make sure that it gets some searches.

Sorry to hear about your health problems... but the first step you have thought of which I think is awesome that you have decided to take action... well done to you!

I believe you need to work on a particular niche... just writing lots of e-books hoping to sell them online won't be the answer for you unfortunately, but here are some suggestions below.

You will define a niche.

Just focus on that one niche. I have done a number of various things all at the same time over the past few years... all different niches. All require time, effort, energy and lots of marketing.

If you just focus on one niche become an expert at that.

With your chosen niche, research what your niche's problems are. That's there where lies the answer. Get good at solving your niche's problem. Get good at communicating with them. Put yourself in their shoes and start thinking about what is it that they are looking for... and how can you be the go to person to solve all their problems. Speak in their language if you know what I mean. What do they talk about... what words do they use to communicate?

For example; golfers they all talk about their handicaps, the speed of play on the course, their frustrations, why are they shanking their shots. Duffing a shot. They top the ball.

You see what I mean I am referring to their jargon.

So then you want to be able to communicate at their level.

Then once you have established that... start building a list. Your list is the one where they will spend money with you.

It's not as easy as just putting something up on the web and hoping people buy it... you have to be strategic.

You're not much older than my son...I can't imagine having that pressure on your shoulders! Firstly, I hope your health improves so you can enjoy the work you do. That's a big reason why most online marketers fail...they just don't like what they're doing.

If it's quick money that's needed, I can recommend offering a service. Whether you write, draw, make videos, or handle social media for someone else, it can get you some money without waiting too long.

While you're working your 'service' job, figure out what it is you want to do. Do you want to write books? Do you want to be an affiliate? Do you like any particular aspect of marketing better than the others? Once you have an idea of what you want to do, work at becoming the best in your chosen niche. Network with others in that niche, watch what they do, learn from their successes and failures, but always do what's right for YOU.

I think beginning any venture from a place of need makes it harder to succeed. Focus on what you can provide the world, spread goodwill, and it'll come back to you.

Selling ebooks will work. I'd suggest writing 3 all related to one another in some way. Choose one as your cheap front end sale, then upsell the other 2 at higher price points in that funnel. I.E. if they buy front end product A they're then shown product B, then C and so on. Driving traffic with free methods is not recommended. Your sales will drip in (if at all). I suggest testing FB ads with a few dollars a day budget.

Also, you can search through the MANY joint venture (JV) facebook pages to look for an already established partner who is selling a product similar in topic to your ebooks. Put both your names on it, and have your partner help you cover traffic costs. Or, if your partner already has a number of affiliates who can promote you can work out a deal for who gets what percentage etc.
