How do I ad AdSense into Blogger?

I got approved. How do I get an ad and how do I place it? On my AdSense account, I was able to get a code, but when I go into Blogger, I hit Layout, then add gadget---> AdSense. I have it set so Ads should display. However, that doesn't work. I don't see any ads. And before you ask, AdBlocker is off, so it wouldn't be blocking any ads.

Can someone provide me with a detailed step-by-step process on how to get AdSense to work on Blogger? It should be simple, but for some reason it's not working for me. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

Also, where do I input the code provided by AdSense? When I add the "AdSense" gadget, the popup doesn't allow me to input the provided code.

what Blog do you use??

you have a template Wordpress, Blogspot?

Do you cantrolled the HTML?

You should be able to just paste the entire code into your text widget or html editor for posts.
