Chris does make a good point.

While I do advocate buying traffic (and, pretty much, if traffic can be bought, I'll buy it), "owning" your own traffic channels is far more lucrative in the long-term. A great deal of my time is spent building traffic platforms, which have the added bonus of being relatively hands-off when compared to PPC marketing.

    Hey!

There are a lot of places to get cheap quality affordable traffic but it is not about the cost of the traffic, but it is about how well you are marketing to your audience .

But if you just want to save money and buy cheap affordable high quality traffic then
    check out Bing ads!

A lot of people overlook on Bing ads, and shoot off to spend everything they have on Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, and a lot of the other obvious online advertising companies.

Bot of these forms of traffic are great but very expensive and it helps if you have deep pockets!

In the past I have used Bing ads, and at times I have only spent pennies for clicks!

Now turning that traffic in dollars ,which is very easy once you ave set up a really awesome marketing campaign is something else.

The reason Bing ads is so cheap is simply because not a lot of people use it like Facebook, or Google but if you know what you are doing, then you can make serious profits from it.

    Hope that helped

One of the cheapest and best forms of advertising is word-of-mouth - happy customers referring your product/service to their friends.

PPC for 0.01. Not these days.

If you want traffic for that cheap then you want pay per view or pop traffic:

    Trafficvance
    50onred

Are the ones I'm familiar with. This is basically interruption marketing, its when someone clicks to a site and a pop up appears before them with your offer.

you pay for the 'View' and not the click. So u'll need a good tracking system in place like cpv lab to see what targets and offers converts best.

    Link redirection is DIRT CHEAP

It is also extremely WORTHLESS ....

Unless you know what you are doing

Don't fall for the 'OMG' type hype regarding link redirect traffic from adf.ly and others... There's an ART to it

Otherwise, you'll end up pouring money into a hole...

Not going to find any at $0.01 bid anymore. If you need targeted traffic this cheap, need to get to building up your social, SEO, email lists, etc.

There are mobile sources out there that are $0.01 but mostly in countries like India where the population is tremendous and the users are unmonetizable (that's not a word).

.01c clicks are still attainable through facebook ads, but don't expect them to come easy. For a beginner, I'd suggest going abroad for that cheap of traffic. It's a lot easier than doing .01c in the US and CA - Although with a lot of testing and a good understanding of your demographic you can do it.

First off, I gotta vent cuz it really gets to me...

I love how people make generalizations like "$0.01 clicks?? Not any more." Why not any more??

Maybe not in your market, with your experience, using your ad budget, and your copywriting skills. But we're doing it.

We've been getting TARGETED clicks, on Facebook (on a PPC basis), for as low as $0.0064 each. Targeted clicks.

    Sorry, I'm finished venting.

OP, you're focusing on the wrong metric. Instead of trying to lower your acquisition costs you should be trying to increase your lifetime customer value.

The goal in business is to be able to spend the most to acquire a customer. Just as long as you can make a profit doing so.

I suggest taking a long, hard look at your business and figure out how you can increase your LCV. Get a funnel built out to extract the maximum amount of money possible from each subscriber.

I have gotten super cheap run of the mill traffic less than one p-p-penny per click on blog ads, but the conversion rate was poor. Ah yes, I did say one penny. Basically, you get that for which you pay. Most companies with low cost advertising are sketchy and that is putting it nice. Work on getting high max target traffic with good conversion.

Bing ads is better than sad words and less expensive. I can get good traffic for about a dime a click with excellent conversion. Also, you can go to bloggers directly and ask for prices. Great deals are just around your corner.

I did a huge amount of research on low-cost global traffic sources, so I put it all in a pdf and put it on Fiverr.com - link below
The cheapest traffic sources today are for mobile device traffic
The only thing different with mobile traffic is that you need a 'responsive' landing page - it has to change size according to the device it is being viewed on
That's easy enough to do - just outsource the work - details in my pdf

Don't get so hung up on the cpc, focus on cost per lead or sale acquisition and just overall ROI.

Whether you're spending .01, .10, or $1 per click - what matters most is how much you get back and the goal is to get back more than you spent.

    Keep it simple sir.

Cheap and good normally don't go together...

Also forget about $0.01 clicks, because even if you find a place selling traffic for that price (which I doubt you will), it won't convert no matter what you pitch to it.

Generally, buying traffic is never cheap, because if you want decent quality traffic, then you'll have to pay good for money it, otherwise it's money down the drain.

I disagree. As I said above, our CPC in the gardening niche is $0.0064 and our ROI on that campaign is at 286%, not counting any $67 recurring payments that hit.

Cheapest form... probably some offline business card marketing. I walked into a Mexican restaurant yesterday and saw a business card from a marketing consultant in my area. I thought it was good that the guy expanded his reach to near where i live. The business cards probably cost him $5 for like 100 (or something like that). Made me think of stealing that Mexican business from him lol.

I would say Facebook is probably your best bet as it is possible to get very low cost clicks. But, and this is big, this is not achieved by throwing up a random ad which can cost you big time.

Over Adsense though, I would say a monkey could probably achieve lower CPC on Facebook in many instances.

You can get $0.01 CPC from Facebook ads. But this depends on your niche and targeting. It's best to have a really good ad image and ad copy to achieve this.
