How is iContact Fairing?

I was sort of blown away when I heard Laura Ingraham promoting iContact on the radio today. She even provided her own promo code.

In case you don't know her, she's a syndicated radio show host, and has often appeared on The O'reilly factor.

I also got a $50 credit offer from them.

I have seen some of their email marketing tutorials, and they're pretty impressive, however Aweber gets tons of high praise and is rated as the best, both here at WF and on the web in general.

Has anyone made the change to iContact, or prefer them over aWeber? If so, what do you think about them?

    I use iContact and I like them a lot. Aweber is good too obviously but I just prefer iContact's interface. Aweber has great service (superb actually) but I just could never get used to the admin area there.

      I'm glad to hear about iContact's interface. I've had some practice with aWeber and didn't find it all that intuitive. I'm looking forward to checking out iContact's demo/trial.

        I just switched to them a little over a month ago, and so far, I've been very pleased. User interface clean & modern; deliverabilty & stats, top-notch; and the price is right.

        The only thing that's NOT as simple as it should be is copying an entire email series from one campaign to another. If anybody knows how to do that w/o manually having to cut-n-paste 1 at a time, I'm all ears.

        They suffered a DDoS attack recently and their back office was down for about a day; but the way the management communicated & responded with blog updates was very professional, I thought. When they said the problem was resolved; it really was.

        I have noticed they seem to be doing an ad blitz, lately. Maybe I should've waited for my fifty bucks. :p

    I tried iContact but somehow I didn't manage to figure out how you can create your own opt-in forms.

    You know like the custom graphics around the email field and a custom button that is a graphic also.

    I'll add my kudos as well. I use them for my IM work as well as for my day job too.

    Their community is a great feature and is well received by Google.
