Ideas for bonuses

Hi everyone! I'm currently marketing an ebook to relieve stress, and I'm looking for some bonuses that I can include in a 'premium' upsell.

My ideas so far:
1. A recipe ebook
2. Guided meditations (these will be mp3 files)
3. Yoga videos
4. Video lectures (slides + voiceover)

I want to make this offer as compelling as possible. Does anyone have any thoughts about extra bonuses that I could include? Thanks!

  • I think guided meditations and yoga videos are directly related to your core topic so go after them.

    Targeted visitors will more likely go for it. Don't over complicate the process.

    Give it a try and then decide based on your conversions.

    Have you thought about creating a membership site? This could be you back end up-sell that creates a monthly subscription for you.

    Obviously you would have to be giving great value for people to pay for example $27 per month but I see that as an option.

    I see a market for a membership site and I can think of many things you could do within the site.

    • Thanks Ian! How would a membership site work in this case? Would we need to create new content on a monthly basis? $27 per month seems like a lot to charge!
  • your "after use" bonus should either be:
    • Access to an online group where you share your content and get insights necessary for improvement purposes.
    • quick video about how to manage moods.
    • comprehensive ebook about how to get organized.

    • So what's the next step after someone buys and reads your ebook?

      One of the things you should consider is a logical path to helping the customer. Obviously, relieving stress is a process. You don't read a book and automatically you have no more stress in your life.

      So what is the next step? Whatever that is . . . it could be the free bonus you're adding to the offer. Worksheets? Exercises? Daily planning? Listening to music? All these things could be included as a bonus to your initial ebook offer.

  • The idea of using meditation music in mp3 format and yoga exercises as bonuses sounds like
    a good one and a good fit.
  • Howdy, so here's my 2 cent...

    Depending on what your actual ebook teaches...

    I always ALWAYS follow this rule when creating upsells:

    "Upsells have to automate, simplify or quicken the process for the customer"

    ..because you will find that upsells that are loosely linked with the front end product don't work as well. Therefore if your "4. Video lectures (slides + voiceover)" are to help buyers relieve stress then I think that could work best.
