Where do you find high ticket affiliate programs?

There is a lot of discussion here in the forum and other places online that when you promote high ticket affiliate offers, your income can go from a few hundreds of dollars per month to $10,000 or more.

Not many affiliates know this:

It is as easy to earn $200-$3,000+ per sale per customer as it is easy to earn $20-$50 per sale from the same customers that you bring in.

But most affiliate marketers, in any niche that you are in, will have a hard time to find these high end high ticket commission programs.

Can some of you share with us here where and how you can find these types of products?

The problem I have found with these high ticket products is that I do not feel they are worth the money. Also, there are many alternatives that cost much less. Amazing Selling Machine is a perfect example.

I, just in good conscience, can not bring myself to promote these products to my list.

I am strictly speaking of digital products. Tangible items are an entirely different story

Your leaving a lot of money on the table by not offering high ticket offers.

You should let your list decide what they like more than what you think they will like.

The bottom line. Model a big ticket item and create your own. Then you are the boss. The gourd floor is where the money is. And yes those with big lists.

  • Finding big tickets to promote really depends on who you hang with.

I can't think of any of my associates or online marketing friends that don't have one or more products or services that sell for upwards of $1,000 with an affiliate program attached to it.

If you have any significant connections, just ask them, and you'd be surprised to find out that they in fact have bigger ticket items with private affiliate programs attached to it, which you won't necessarily find listed on JVzoo or Clickbank.

However, here on this forum, it doesn't seem to be the place to look. Which is really sad in itself.

I see mostly $7 product marketers, and rarely up to a few hundred bucks worth. Most currently active marketers and affiliates here seem to be struggling and working really hard on even making their first sale online. Let alone creating bigger ticket (quality) products.

This is why allot of significant income earners don't hang here much, and the forum is now filled with mostly newbies, and the $497 wannabee mentors ready to take their money.

    But I digress...

Right now we are also completing a product that will be selling for $20,000 and we'll also be offering what will most likely be pretty popular amongst the big ticket affiliates. I highly doubt however, that we will find many prospect or affiliates here. As mentioned, most are either looking for that $7 eBook with hidden nuggets, or spend most of their time promoting the same.

As for where to find high ticket products to promote? If you don't have associates etc in the big ticket range, then just Google the term "big ticket affiliate programs" and it may bring up several sites that compile a list of them.

You can also browse Facebook groups such as the one here I joined.

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/17066638119/

Tons of bigger income earners and big ticket opportunities in there. There are more of these on FB,
and also most other social media sites, or marketing communities may have related groups.

Which is what shows up as the first result when Googling the term "big ticket affiliate programs" that I mentioned.

In the end, there are tons of places to find big ticket items to promote, but that doesn't mean, as agmccall mentioned, that they are worth the "worth the money".

The even more challenging thing would be to find something of quality in your niche, suitable for your target audience. Unless you do what some do, and just promote "anything" that converts.

Another thing to consider is that high ticket programs usually have a much better ROI on marketing spend, therefore making working with affiliates much less attractive.

If I can generate sales to my 5,000$ coaching program for an average of 1000$ spent on PPC advertising, there's absolutely no point in paying 50% or 2500$ to an affiliate.

Even if I had a 10% or 20% commission program in place instead of the 50% + that affiliate marketers are used to in this space, I would still be required to put in extra work maintaining an affiliate network, do support, maintain the relationships, etc.

Why bother when the system in place already provides me the same if not better results? I might let in my buddies if they ask nicely or setup some kind of private invitation when working with partners who have something to bring to the table that justifies the extra effort or expense, but it becomes a completely different game when you stop looking at affiliates as the end-all solution and start looking at the bottom line.

Well yes, if you can predictably spend $1000 to end up with a $4000 profit everytime, then there is little point in paying $2500 to an affiliate to be left with only $2500.

Many vendors however may not have the upfront budget to think that way, and may be forced to start off by paying out that $2500 after the sale, as opposed to investing the $1000 before the sale.

    StoltingMediaGroup nailed it.
The high ticket guys are definitely not around on the internet. Your IRL network brings more value than anything Internet, leave alone WF has to offer.

Your best bet is to talk to them, feel their profit and offer to do affiliate work for them if it makes sense to them and you.

As an aside, is there a Warrior Meetup for Toronto guys? This place is flooded with some geniuses in Toronto. I'm downtown and it would be great to meet you guys!

There are many high ticket affiliate program in the internet marketing niche which will provide you will some good training. You could see what products and coaching programs they have and what types of commission they offer, once you have done this it's just then deciding which one to go for!

I've involved in one myself which offer on going training weekly webinars, online support and much more, what's great about these programs are they want you to succeed and are will to give you as much help as possible to do so. The most important part of any coaching program is the support you get as so many people get started in internet marketing, but get to much information over load and then are not sure how to get started!

Best of luck I'm sure your find one you're looking for!

The problem with high ticket affiliate programs is that even though the commissions are high
you may take a long time before you make any conversions. Try the business loans or
personal loans niche, there are many small and medium size businesses in search for financing due to the worldwide economic crisis. Commissions in this niche range from $150 to over $100,000.Just google business loans affiliate programs and you will find some.

    This is completely false.

Basically, it's a variant of the tired, common and completely false belief that many people have that goes something like this:

To make $1,000 you can either sell:
    • 1,000 $1 items
    • 100 $10 items
    • Just one $1,000 item
Obviously, option #3 requires fewer sales, therefore it must be easier, right?
The problem with the "logic" above (if you'll excuse my technical language) is that it's just plain stupid. In general, there is more demand for cheaper products than more expensive products (though this certainly isn't universally true). Thus for many -- probably most -- things, it would be easier to sell 2,000 $1 items than a single $1,000 item.

If you don't believe me, think about this example. If you were selling beverages, which company would you rather own: The Coca-Cola company selling $1 soft drinks and or Moët & Chandon selling Dom Pérignon champagne at $150 a pop? (Hint: Coca-Cola's 2013 revenue was $46.8 billion whereas Moët & Chandon's revenue was €1.2 billion.) Or if you were selling furniture would you rather own IKEA with it's $500 sofas or Restoration Hardware with $5,000 sofas? (Hint: IKEA's revenue was $28.5 billion; Restoration Hardware's was $1.1 billion).

Or think about your own life. How much money do you spend on soft drinks or other cheap products versus champagne and luxury goods?

Now I grant you that small online businesses targeting niche markets are different than multinational corporations. But still, there are plenty of advantages to selling smaller ticket items even if your revenue isn't in the billions:
    • You'll likely grow your lists faster.
    • Some affiliate programs (e.g., Amazon.com) give higher rates of return when you sell a larger quantity of items.
    • You're more likely to get repeat sales selling smaller items. And with more sales, you'll earn more trust. With more trust, you'll get even more sales. Admittedly I have no data to support this contention, but I strongly feel that your ability to get repeat sales is a huge determiner in whether or not you'll be successful.
    • Small sales help you get big sales. Having lots of small sales gives you lots of chances to upsell. Upselling from higher-end products is difficult at best. Moreover people who have already bought anything of any value from you are more likely to buy more expensive things from you than those who haven't. This last fact is a reason why some companies are willing to sell certain products at a loss (think Black Friday sales).
    • It's the internet! For most things, it's not actually much (if any) more work to sell 1,000 things than just one thing. How much more effort does it take to have 1,000 people on your website than having 1 person on your website? How much more effort does it take to blast an email to a list of 1,000 (or 1,000,000) people versus a list of just 1 person? Now certainly there are some activities where increasing your customers will increase your workload. But I'd suggest that online at least, those are the exception and not the rule.
I'm not trying to say that it's always easier to sell lower priced items than more expensive items. For instance, in the example above, if you were targeting hedge fund managers, you probably really would make more money selling champagne and luxury furniture than Coke and cheap couches. And there certainly are advantages to selling high end products over lower-end products too.

But the point is that there's no easy answer to which is better. Every product, every market, every niche, every business, and every person is different. Even so, more often than not there is more money overall to be made in cheaper products than more expensive products. The reason for this is simple: online businesses are all about scaling up and it's much, much, much easier to find customers and scale up a business where you're selling the online equivalent of $1 soft drinks instead of $150 bottles of champagne.

From my experience a couple of months ago, I launched a WSO that had a lot of success and in the backend, I promoted a free webinar that ended with a pitch for a high ticket coaching program at $2,000 price point.

The person who conducted the webinar managed to close 6 sales and we split the profits.

I think high ticket products are best to promote after building some kind of rapport with your prospects. At least in my experience.

The secret is to sell a low-cost front end offer then gradually sell to your customers products at higher price points. The high ticket offer should be presented to the prospect on the backend.

I don't know how many high ticket gurus or their students hang out here. But I do know that my high ticket coaching program recommends getting involved with the Warrior Forum and even does some training as to how to get involved.

I'd suggest that the Warrior Forum has a lot of competition from Facebook groups and a lot of the high ticket people are more involved with them now.

You can look at this from several points of view. It's true that there are more buyers for less expensive courses. But you need a good list and 100 buyers at $20 to equal one $2,000 high ticket sign-up. To each his own.

It's true that you can learn a lot without going high ticket and their are a lot of great lower costs courses that are extremely useful. I think a lot of folks with ample resources view higher priced coaching as simply more valuable. Many are new to marketing and many are not inclined to spend their time sorting through various YouTube channels to learn the tricks of the trade.

One difference is the high ticket groups usually have a lot more support and helpful insights on an ongoing basis. And there are even higher levels of coaching involved which has appeal for many.

It may be somewhat tendentious to say you get what you pay for, but information and knowledge should not be the only criterion for choosing a course that's right for you. Trusting and liking the coach can also be a determining factor.
