Has anyone gone through someone's coaching program and had good success after the coaching?

If so could you please let me know who your coach was and what you paid for them coaching you?

Cost?
Results?

You don't need a coach...you need to learn all you can, take inventory of your resources, choose a realistic business model based on your capabilities, and then GOYA and get to work.

Well it depends on your level of success and expertise. If you are just starting out, then go with free resources and build up your knowledgebase. Then start taking actions and track your results and income.

There are different ways to make money online and depends on your attitude, aptitude, interest and ability.

Once you start seeing results, then you can take advice or mentorship from higher performing people in your field and rectify your mistakes or loopholes in your current model.

But, at last most of the work and hardship will be done by you... and only you. No one can give you success, unless you are prepared for it.

Sorry guys. I don't know anyone in this crazy business that has been truly consistently successful online their first year without having a coach. Pro sports athletes, $20K keynote speakers, big company CEOs, real estate investors, the list goes on and on...they ALL have coaches. Why would web marketing be any different? Sure, you can read free blog posts, but if you want to play at the pro level, you're going to need coaching even if for a month or two to explore new areas. Heck, I've been doing this stuff for 20 years and about every two or three years I hire a coach for a little while to get a jump start in an area I want to get into. Doesn't make sense to me that you'd advise across the board for everyone to never seek a coach.

The goal is to "Jump Start" or "Fast Track" your knowledge so that you are not running into road blocks and wasting your time on failures while you learn the steps on your own. Everyone that is successful has a coach or has partners who have the advanced knowledge that you don't. In order to be successful you must constantly learn from those who are beyond your level of expertise. - Great advice LERXTJR!

deekay is spot on. It depends at which stage you are at. Ultimately, the work is done by you. the coach can only guide you and tell you how it takes him to success but it MAY NOT WORKS for you.
A word of advice, if you really want a coach, please make sure you can have access to him personally most of the time. not his support staff or what..
    Good luck!

Quite often, people don't need coaching.

Warrior Forum is an excellent mine of information, and even when you're unable to find answers here, you'll often discover jumping-off points so you can go elsewhere and find it.

That being said, for areas where information isn't available, or for a fast-track and clearly defined business plan, coaching or mentoring can be a great idea.

But finding a good coach is only part of the puzzle. You'll find many good coaches on WF, but each one has their own area of expertise. So:

    - It's important to know which area you need coaching in;
    - And who is the resident expert.

If you're new to internet marketing, I'd hold onto your money until you know exactly where to spend it, and if you even need to spend it at all.

    Here's a plan I'd suggest:

    1. Scour the different business models we talk about.
    2. Decide which ones are most suitable for you.
    3. Isolate just one model to implement first.
    4. Research the model (freely available information).
    5. Take steps to implement or find a coach to help you.

If you take the above approach, you'll save money. You may not even need a coach at all, but if you do need one, you'll know which kind of coach to find.

And if you do decide to go looking for a coach in an area of expertise:

    - Visit their profile
    - Examine their posts
    - Examine their website
    - Chat to them
    - Chat to others about them

hi guys, i'm really keen to learn internet marketing as well.

I've been reading the Charles Ngo's blog and he really seems like the real deal. I'm seriously thinking about joining his course but it's really expensive.

Anyone attended it or know someone who has attended it? is it worth paying such a hefty amount for the course?

I listen to a lot of podasts from James Schramko, his information is excellent in the podcasts and he's always plugging his coaching program which is $79 per month. I have never tried it but I might some time.

The most important thing is that you're willing to learn.

Well done! You're on the right track. I spent 10 years and over $15,000 trying to make money online until I finally realized I wasn't going to make it on my own. I looked for a mentor.who would not only tell me what to do, but would show me how to do it. Now I'm making progress at long last.
It would be unethical for me to post details as the moderators, quite rightly, would not approve.
But I see no reason why you can't PM me.
Good luck to you in all your endeavors.
    Keep smiling!

It sounds like you are probably a newbie in search of step by step help that results in financial success at the end. I'm sorry to tell you that it doesn't exist. That kind of transfer of knowledge from one source isn't possible. Sure, there are tons of people who will lead you to believe that it is, but they are scammers 100% of the time.

Sure - been on both sides. I went with a coach years ago that helped me with my copywriting - paid off BIG time! The program involved on-demand calls, critiques and consults as well as some weekly exercises early on.

On the other side we have coached many people - best results are those that take action and don't expect everything to work perfectly - a good deal of progress is trying things (in a directed and focused way to limit risk) and then refining until you see the results you want.

Best advice though is to a) Be clear on what you want coaching with (where you are in your business building journey) and b) Go with someone who has demonstrated that they can both get results themselves (track record) as well as being able to teach effectively - those two are rare to find.

I believe in coaching too! Cuts the learning curve down and takes away the fears and doubts if the coach is good.

I am new to internet marketing and I am presently in a coaching program. I love my coach because he is not afraid to tell me about how my mindset should be to do this business and why. And I am unafraid of doing what he instructs me to do. I busted through some real fear and doubt.

You know how some coaching programs can make you feel like inadequate? None of that here.

We are in constant contact via Skype or email. I leave our Skype sessions with a to-do list and a lot of confidence to go do it. I feel like he is holding my hand and cares about what happens to me, but he ain't going to do it for me. He makes me want to do whatever assignment I get. Awesome.

I am totally excited because we are getting ready to do paid traffic this week! I can't wait!!!
