They are all marketable, in the sense that if you were to develop and market them, they all have a roughly equal shot at success or failure...

... which is lower than their shot would be if they were .com domains. But I am guessing you know that.

Was it your intention to try to resell them? If that is the case, it is a much longer game than one year, with pretty lousy odds of paying off. Not impossible, but still lousy.

Let them go and buy some lottery tickets. That is a stronger business plan.

Was thinking about getting them all up and running with WordPress, Social media accounts etc.

Obviously with them being free and hosting relatively cheap there's no financial risk so far but with them being .xyz is it worth the push to get them out there, (Especially with the majority being well established niches)

Or would i be better off getting hold of a few less attractive .coms (Everything i search seems to be taken or sold at a hugely inflated price!)

Im not looking for "The Answer" here just opinions

      Thanks for your input

There is a big risk - and that is wasting your time (and more money) on trying to sell these domains when you could be anxiously creating and building a real business.

There are many new domain extensions becoming available every year so there will always be others that can register your exact domain name but with a different extension.

My advice is to always register a dot com name. It is the most preferred extension, there is a scarcity factor about it, and it is the best extension for commercial enterprises.

But here's a little secret: There are still many, many great dot com domains available in every market and niche if you are a little creative and use some free tools that are available (like Lean Domain Search and Impossibility.)

        The very best to you,

        Steve

My intention was not to sell them but to develop them and wouldn't expect any of the names i got to have any real resale value anyway!

I know dot coms are on a level of there own but are these new extensions really that much of an anti-climax!?

Probably best I take the advice from people who have been in the game for a number of years scrap the dot xyz's and work on 1 dot com at a time

They can all be "marketable". But the niches are so broad, you'll have to find what resonates with you the most, and pursue them one at a time. Don't over complicate things and just take 1 direction.
