I need a proper video player for my website?

Hi, I'm currently using a video player, but it only streams from Amazon S3 with the "bitrate" that the video was uploaded with. For example I always export my videos on a very low bitrate then upload to Amazon S3 so that when people view the videos on my site they will load rather quickly instead of buffering.

However.. this means the video quality is rather poor. I was hoping to find a video player like Youtube's player where it would automatically play the video at the highest quality for that users internet speed.

Is there such a video player?

Any feedback appreciated.

If you upload a video with poor quality, the highest quality on the user's end is going to be poor as well. This rings true even with videos on YouTube.

I may be misunderstanding your question, but no matter which player being used - if the video quality is bad, it's going to be bad even on max settings in the player.

Contact Matthrew McDonald Warrior mrmcd and check out his players. See: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...eo-player.html

He has one that permits you to iFrame Youtube videos into your site and wrap the video in a border with controls that lock over the YouTube logo, thus keeping your visitors on your site since they can't click the youtube logo to watch it directly on youtube.

Here's a site using that player: The Micro Franchise Opportunity

    Cheers,
    Steve

    Hey!
Why do you need a video player on your website?

The best thing for you to do if you want add your video on your website is to:

    1. Have a high quality video (HD is best)

    2. Upload your video to your Youtube account (If you have one, if not make one)

    3. Click the share button and copy and paste the video onto your Wordpress page/ post. You can even adjust the video on which part of the page you want it to be.

Vimeo Pro . I upload full on 1080P directly from screenflow and I have never had an issue with them playing. It is why I like it better than Wistia even. Its $199 a year but if you are running a course, you can set the security so that it will only play on your website. It also makes it easier to brand your videos for your site. I pretty much quit using S3 for video hosting...
