How to Find New Ideas for Your Blog Posts

Hey Warriors,

Many of you on the forum are bloggers, some of whom struggle from writers block, so here is my attempt at curing you.

This is a short list of 4 ways to find new ideas for your blog posts,a summed up version of the original article, which can be found here: 7 Effortless Ways to Find New Ideas for Your Blog

Let's get down to it...

1. Try Using Bottlenose

As i understand it, Bottlenose allows you to find all of the trending topics on major social media sites. By doing this, as a blogger you can base your fresh blog posts off of these trending topics. This may or may not help them rank and gain popularity faster.

Just as a heads ups, to get the full use out of Bottlenose, it will require you to sign up through a sales team. A smaller less advanced alternative to this would be Topsy.

2. Write a Post from Common Questions in Your Niche

In every niche there are the typical questions. "How do i start with blank?" "Where can i find blank?" "What's the best resource for blank?"

It would be a great way to start, or add to your blog if you could create posts that answer these questions straight down to the bone. Use as much detail as possible, and be as specific as possible and you will have an established source of ideas to create posts around for a long time, if not forever.

To find these questions, you can go to forums, YouTube videos, other blogs, and press releases. Pretty much anywhere where someone can leave a comment, feedback, or ask a question. You can also check Quora.

3. Read Blogs in Your Niche, and Give it Your Own Twist

No, i'm not saying copy someone article, that's just foolish, ,BUT, there's nothing wrong with taking the concepts from one article and using them to influence your own.

For example: You can use someone elses article on making high ranking YouTube videos for a general idea on how to rank videos, just be sure to add your own twist to it when you do finally publish it, this way it does have a form of originality.

4. Google Alerts

Google Alerts are commonly used to find fresh content in specific niches and categories that have a targeted keyword.

Bloggers can use this to find new content in their industry, from which they can then get an idea of what others are blogging about and/or what is popular blogging material amongst bloggers. This still means that a form of originality needs to be seen in your own blog post.

So there ya go, those were only just 4 ways to find ideas for a new blog post.

I know there are many more, so please, which ones did i miss? Which ones did or don't work for you?
