So I have a blog that talks about Wicca, and Paganism in general. It's from the perspective of someone who practices Saxon Witchcraft. So far it's been getting pretty good traffic for a blog that's only updated once a week. I have thought about expanding this to a community that has a message board, a forum, a weekly newsletter with other contributing writers, and maybe a shop that sells products.

At the same time, I have also considered becoming a professional blogger. I'd open up more blogs, and write an article for each blog. I have toyed with the idea of having five blogs, and write an article for each one on separate days. These blogs would have advertisement such as AdSense and other ads/sponsor.

My final idea is to basically become a Freelance researcher and do research for companies or individuals. However, that doesn't seem to be panning out as well, mainly because all the freelance jobs seem to be going to writers, programmers or website designers.

I am 25 years old, and I am having a hard time finding a job, and I'm having a hard time starting a brick and morter business, mainly because it's either expensive as all get out, some stupid zoning restrictions, or whatever.

Honestly I really want to work, I want to make my own income and I'm tired of being jobless. However the reason I'm not starting on any of the ideas is that I don't really know what really works, or what are just scams that people want me to fall for.

So, help please?

    Hey there Northern... Blessed Be!

I actually went through the same frustrations years ago and I'm going to tell you what my husband said to me then - just do it!

Looking back, that little Nike philosophy has held true for me time and time again...

Blogging is obviously a sound way to make money and your other ideas are good as well. As someone who has several websites going simultaneously, my best advice is to work on one at a time, at least until it's running strong... then you can add another website to the mix.

Since you already have your pagan website going, I would start there... Flesh it out with your affiliate programs, adsense etc. and you could even test the "product" waters by reviewing various ritual items, candles, etc as an affiliate (Azure Green has a really good aff program and they also do drop-shipping)... this way, you can see if selling products is what you want to do without having to invest in inventory up front.

As for the research idea, can you broaden your services? I offer research services too but I'm also a writer and you're right, these two things usually go hand in hand... since you're obviously fairly comfortable with writing for your own website, why not hone your skills and hang your shingle as a writer/researcher? You can find a ton of projects to bid on at Elance, which would give you access to a wide variety of potential clients not to mention some extra income...

Think automated, passive income as much as you can to free up your time to devote to your different projects.

Ultimately, you want to do something that you love and I can tell you that it's definitely worth your effort to try. I spent years working in the corporate world and when I finally walked away, it was and is the best thing I've ever done... even when the cash flow isn't great, I wouldn't trade my independence for anything...

So grab a notebook and pen, sit down and map out all your ideas... decide which ones you can and should do first and then put things into motion...even just one little step can ease that frustration and empower you to do more...

    Abundance & Blessings

It sounds like you can write. This is a huge gift to have as an internet marketer... if you can stand (or even enjoy) writing content all day long, you have a HUGE edge. After all, the main form of communication on the internet is the written word.

Have you ever checked out a subject called Bum Marketing? You should. I think you could be off and running in no time.

Trust me if you think you can do it, do it. The worst thing that can happen is it'll fail. If you really wanna see if people will be interested in something like that then put a poll on the blog to see what people are interested. If its a large majority then congrats you have an audience. From their its all about monetizing.

The best of luck to you.

    Hi!

Don't lose hope. If you know a lot about your topic (niche) then you have a lot of potential. I don't know if a lot of people in your niche are knowledgeable in effective keyword research and search engine optimization.

If you can master these you'll be able to get ahead of the search engine results and get a bigger percentage of the traffic which will also coincide with getting a bigger piece of the pie.

It seems that you are new so focus on learning the skills that I've mentioned. It will definitely be useful and profitable

    To Your Success!
