How Should I Give Away My Free Product

So to collect emails I want to give away a 30 minute video. What option do you think is best:

A: Entire 30 Min Video Once They Sign Up

B: 10 Min Video each day for 3 days

What would make them more likely to buy my product after ?

I think your best bet would be A. then have your one time offer for them to purchase, if you don't have your own product you can use a relevant affiliate product...

I much prefer the 10 min per day for 3 days.

Putting yourself in the shoes of your prospects, 30 minutes is a big commitment, especially for something they didn't pay for (so they don't place as much value on it).

I used to have a free blogging course I gave away, 4 videos and each video was like 30 minutes lol.
I got a lot of feedback from people that it was WAY too much.

Once I broke it down to 6 short videos, each 2-5 minutes, I got better results.

You can show the first 5 min upfront. You can then, ask for subscription from your viewers in order to watch the whole video. Assuming the first 5 min has some catchy contents, you will get the mail ids. Then you can break the remaining video in 2 or three parts but ending of every part should not seem abrupt. I suggest to break it in parts because that will keep alive the excitement in your viewers mind...you may call it something like "tease marketing". It will also build your brans in the sense that you provide value to your subscribers...hope that helps.

You could... provide 3 different pages. 10 minutes per video but give them the opportunity to see the rest of the content, because that's what they signed up for. You might have some really solid content on part 2, but if part 1 doesn't grab enough attention, their response to follow through may impact your results.

In your follow up series you should still provide something like a day 1, day 2 and day 3 email series, but if the intentions to follow through with a product, then it's in your best interested to ensure that it's congruent.

You'll want to provide the value, then highlight the problems that still exist, agitate the problem and then provide the solution at different angles, with that solution being your product.

The factor that truly would make them want to buy is the QUALITY of the video.

I read something that changed my mind about lead magnets the other day and I believe this to be very true...

It's better to focus more on the conversions of your squeeze page and your email follow-up than the lead magnet. Because a lot of them end up gathering digital dust on hard drives.

Looking at my hard drive, I think it's very true. And that includes a guy who I've just emailed for 1-2-1 coaching. I've had his digital guide on my desk top for months, never read it. I do read his emails and check him out on social media though.

    Something to think about.

That said, the people who do watch that video will probably be super-qualified, highly motivated and interested prospects.

I think it would be best if you just give them the full 30 minutes video.

Then, you can follow up - build trust, and have upsells eventually!

Over-delivering on value will help you build good trust with them.

I would really make sure I over deliver in value on the front end lead magnet - that way they will know for sure that you deliver valuable content!

And that will result in them opening your emails every time.

    I hope this helps!

Keep up the great work man!

Haven't done much with video marketing but have watched many. On YT for instance, if I see a video is long (over 10 minutes) I will usually not watch it, or say to myself "I will come back and watch this later when I have more time", but I never do. I would definitely go the three 10 minute video route regardless of the rest of your funnel set-up.

    In my opinion:

B: 10 Min Video each day for 3 days

( This seem to be the most commonly used strategy! )

my suggestion is to make like 4 videos which talk about specific topic of what your product is about.

4 videos of highly valuable information and at the end tell them about the product you promote. you will gain more conversion with this and if there is any people who still didn't buy you can follow up with them.

    Hi Alex:

Please be careful giving stuff away. There is a person who sells a graphics pack of pictures he stole from pixabay and he uses other peoples work to make money. I have found that a lot of reports are using stolen templates or uses images... that they rob from people doing a give away.
