So i've been looking at the warrior affiliates threads. These sound like sure fire ways to make money. from your experience is this a good sideline to start?

do they cost to start? ie do I have to pay for the opportunity to become an affiliate?

would I get support from the OP? and would they direct on how to get traffic?

I'm assuming not on most of these but if you don't ask you don't know hey!

Sorry I didn't get your question . but I will try to answer it anyway.

To become an affiliate you do not need to pay any money. You just sign up to whatever network or product you want to promote. If they will approve you, you can start promoting straight away.

The best affiliate networks to join for FREE are:

    1. Clickbank.com- Very well known to almost all internet marketers. It has a collection of amazing information products which you begin promoting straight away. no approval or waiting which is very beneficial too!

    2. JVzoo- Another great marketplace full of information products. If you are in the internet marketing/ work from home niche you will love this place. It has almost every IM product imaginable available for you to begi promoting, SEO products, Listbuilding products, Blogging, products you name it.

Offervault.com- If you are a newbie (Which I have see you are) then this is the perfect place to promote Cost Per Lead (CPL) offers. These are offers which your customer won't have to pay for. You get paid if one of your customers enters their information (e.g email address , phone number, etc..). People are much more willing to give out their information for these products, than to pay money so that is where I would start.

A good place to start learning is either through a course or a coach. There are many around so shop around and find which one you like best.

So to answer your question no, you do not have to pay any money to become an affiliate. You can start promoting right now if you want

    Hoe that was helpful.

Each seller is going to be different.

Make a list or spreadsheet, and assess each one you're interested in by three or four (or maybe even more, if you want) categories.

They probably don't charge up front to represent their product. That's more of an MLM thing. I wouldn't pay to be an affiliate here; you're the one bringing them the traffic. They're paying you.

While they might give you traffic pointers that's really your job.

What you should be looking for is email swipes, good sales copy, and of course a history of excellent products and customer support. (In your list or spreadsheet...Check, Check, Check!)

YOU may have to invest in your own landing pages, copy, follow up sequence etc. to attract, collect, and warm up your traffic for an offer.

There aren't any "sure-fire" ways of making money. Everything has an upside and a downside. You have to decide and Get In and start doing.

This is just my personal view!

If you think about it - an affiliate is somebody who promotes somebody else's products for them in return for a commission. So why would we need to pay for this privilege?

Personally - if somebody went off and promoted my website for free I would be more than happy to pay them some money for the sales they got me and I wouldn't charge them. They are already paying to advertise my site. But that's just my view. I would personally steer clear of paid affiliateships, unless the deal is amazing and you know other people who do it successfully. I spent a shedload in that trap

I am sure there are some great affiliate programs out there that you can pay for, but I would expect more than the 90% front end commission for doing that - as the owners are chugging on the back end $1000 plus sales where the real money is - and not paying any commissions at all!!

Remember this is just MY view lol

If you are looking for a part time income with an affiliate program that would be different. You wouldn't mind that somebody was drinking at the pool you created as long as you were getting some sort of income.

So as usual with questions like this it depends what you are looking for. I have several affiliate links on all my sites for the software I use. I get a nice little bonus payment every month when people use the link to purchase the software and all I do is recommend it as a good product.

That really depends on your approach to marketing and what exactly you want to pursue. There's many different ways to make money. Personally I'd suggest spending time to build a structured sales funnel and build a list. But if you're looking at selling T Shirts, or making money from Adsense sites, then it's going to be somewhat different.

That all depends. In most Network Marketing companies, yes... you would have to join their program and earn commissions by building a downline. If you were to look into reliable high ticket companies such as MOBE, you could either pay an affiliate fee or become a licensed member and earn high ticket commissions.

But there are a lot of businesses that are happy to bring affiliates onboard without an upfront cost. So once you have everything in place, you can start promoting and testing.

In most cases you'll get support. Every provider is different. Some may provide tips on traffic generation and some expect you to know how to drive traffic. Sometimes you won't even get approved to be an affiliate if you can't provide evidence of being a good affiliate.

I think and will suggest to you best way is to first earn affiliate commissions with CPA networks and once you get the hold of it you can jump into clickbank and the likes.

    Thank You

Hi! Great to see you on-board with all of us, if you give affiliate marketing a chance, I'm sure you won't regret it.

Try to browse more of such similar forums to absorb whatever knowledge you can, when you think you're ready, maybe purchase one or two eBooks/systems and start learning the rope. Mainly, decide on what you want to go for, there're multiple ways to make money online: CPA marketing, web designing, blogs etc.

Don't just trust your judgement on the products you purchase though! Do some research before committing, each sellers provide different support and some don't provide at all.

    Best of luck sir!

I am an affiliate of amazon. Mostly, they pay low commission. OK so approx 4% on average. Still, it is a major company. Also, they have a good rep. Results are up to you.

You can start for free as an affiliate on Clickbank. But that's a half-assed response i just gave. In truth, you should really PAY and get a website, autoresponder, and blog (if it doesn't already come bundled with your website). After that, generate leads, promote good content everywhere, and continue to give good info via email to your leads. And be sure to plug your affiliate link in each email. Even on the first one. (that's my style)
