Low Cost Trial Offers Vs One Time Payment Offers For Sales Funnel

Hi Warrior Family,


My question is, would it be better to have a low cost(US$3.99 or less) trial offer that will ultimately be a recurring cost for my leads or a moderately priced(US$10 - US$97) one time payment offer for peak conversions in my sales funnel? Any suggestions?

    It really depends on the membership site, and specifically:

    1. The quality of the content;
    2. The volume of that content;
    3. The frequency of content updates.

    You can think of it in terms of a dating site, many of which offer $1 trials. Can the customer get everything they hope to get from that site in 24 to 72 hours? If so - avoid the trial.

      I guess trial offers is best method as it is widely used in software industry and has good response also.

      Check Aweber and Getresponse both offer trial period so users can easily signup and check their features before buying full time subscription.

        If they are related, put the membership offer in your funnel as an upsell AND a downsell. If you can get eyes in front of it, it couldn't hurt to see which one people respond to most.

    how about an absolutely, one hundred percent, risk free trial instead? you will most likely achieve the best conversions in this way then, if you accept in using this type of sales pricing, as well.
