Linkshare query and wanna know your experience

Guyz,

Just need some inputs:

1) I have some 3 websites interested to sell some products in these websites. So, I joined linkshare. In linkshare, is that mandatory to all of my sites and then chose merchants? or Can i add single website. chose merchants and Can I chose approved merchants in all of my websites? Please suggest me.

2) Howz your product selling going? Are you really making good money or its damn tough to make money thrugh affiliate marketing. I am not asking any tips to get traffic for my websites, but just wanna know your exprience.

    You can just add one website and apply to any merchant you want. I have not promoted Linkshare before but have had sales with Shareasale, Avantlink and Commission Junction. I would recommend that you join Shareasale and Avantlink as they have more newbie friendly tools. For example, merchant product datafeeds are free at Shareasale and Avantlink whereas you have to pay $250 for Linkshare and CJ to set them up for you. You should also take a look at Amazon as well.

    It is definitely not easy doing affiliate marketing for physical products. I used to use webshops built from product datafeeds. Instead of building webshops yourself, you can also use services such as Goldencan and Popshops. Nowadays I rely almost on paid traffic entirely. You will be able to find more help at Abestweb.

    In linkshare, Assume Domain 1 got approved Merchants A, B and Domain 2 got approved Merchants C, D, then Can I promote Merchnats C, D in Domain 1?
