Teespring Promoting WITHOUT FB Ads

Content on a fb page nobody sees won't get you anymore

You need to build out FB ads to drive likes to the site - that's really your best and only reliable option.

All the people I know have rather large followings on social media sites like Youtube, so that whenever they put up a video to promote something on Tee Spring, they automatically get a lot of traffic to their stuff.

I'm trying to understand your angle. You are developing a brand? IMO the best approach for you would be to figure out what niche you would like to go after(say drummers) and then post links to your shirts on popular drum related pages page post. Also, I would suggest creating pages that are niche specific

This is NOT my recommended method but you asked for a way without ads.

Going to leave a few tips here. Might benefit some other folks, as well. Or - as I prefer to think of it - increase the power of their

What I do for traffic.

I have quite a few large traffic platforms. We're talking pages, accounts, profiles, groups, communities. On top of that, a budget for traffic-buying. When promoting tees, I'll hurl traffic from the 2 locations:

1. Platforms.
2. Traffic Purchases.

If you don't want to buy traffic.

It's all well and good saying to buy traffic for tees, but if you hung out with my crowd, or even had a bash at traffic buying yourself, you'd learn pretty early on the concept of weak or negative ROI. Reason being: competition. There is money to be made here - a heck of a lot - and this draws out the people with skills and money to burn.

And this is "some" of what we do:

1. Review tee campaigns on socials.
2. Reverse engineer the best.
3. Use our stats (based on big investment in the past).
4. Implement similar but improved campaigns.
5. Push out those "old winners."
6. See our own campaigns dwindle as we're copied.
7. Repeat 1 to 5.

Bit more involved than that, but you get the picture. It's really no different than any type of media buy or PPC marketing. Inexperienced IMers believe traffic buying is a way to hands-off profits. Good luck with that. You're competing with folks like me (and people with far, far, far deeper pockets), taking what they know are winning campaigns, or even winning elements, and enhancing their EPCs at the expense of your own. Business is war, remember.

There are traffic buying tricks but I can't share them. I'd suggest you or anyone else using your smarts and becoming a student of tee campaigns.

But I'm going to give you and anyone else a much safer, and in the long-term, probably better route - unless you have cash to burn.

Socials

The 2 best socials to sell your tees:

1. Facebook
2. Twitter

Do your selling on your own FB page. Direct all traffic TO that page.

A few traffic sources for you:

1. Your FB Page.
2. FB Niche Groups.
3. FB Buy and Sell Groups
4. Your Twitter.
5. G+ Communities
6. Pinterest
7. Youtube Videos
8. Dailymotion Videos
9. Niche Forums

If you're just starting out:

1. FB Page.
2. Twitter Account.
3. Direct Twitter to FB Page.
4. Grow FB Page by Sharing Non-Monetized Updates to Groups.
5. Eyeballs on Campaigns: Share tee updates to groups.

Pro Tip:

Some of us are growing FB groups to 100K+ in a matter of weeks. One easy way of doing so is by making "NICHE ADD ME GROUPS."

(I'm so getting my butt kicked for saying some of this...)

Last thing I'll add is this: trends.

You can't even imagine how much was earned when Skyrim (how can you not love it, you freak?!!!!) came out. But (and you like this game) the same can be said (to a slightly lesser extent) for GTA V.

The trick to tees for BIG money?

Follow trends!

So I'm hoping the above sticks. It certainly wouldn't if I'd made the thread - which is why you'll find me replying as opposed to creating.

Oh - last thing (sorry, just waking up).

GROW your traffic platforms first. Obvious. Just saying so - just in case. I personally like to get platforms to 10K minimum AND ensure that they're high-engagement. Those add me groups? Not the greatest engagement, which is one of the reasons we make NICHE ones - which increases engagement a little. You'll need a bit more than 10K on those. Overall - your objective should be to grow big platforms. The more and the bigger, the merrier.

Oh - another very last thing. If you're not already doing so - you should be collecting opt-ins. If you collect them and warm up your traffic (fortune is in the follow-ups, as they say) you'll increase conversions. Plenty of ways to get folks on your list. Be creative!

pinterest + instagram will get you huge high quality traffic

You need to run Facebook ads if you want faster results. I don't think you'll get any conversions without using any form of paid traffic. You need to invest money as well if you want to earn in internet marketing. Just spend your budget wisely.

Run Tspring campaign without spending money on ads? wow thats going to be though cookie.

hello sushi, my advice is to use the app or website where you post your campaign facebook, make you pay a few cents and pay a few cents per click who I like !!! so in a few days with a small investment you will go up frighteningly I like in a few days, then will rise again free by users who will see his friends put (i like). in Europe now use many clinkomatic.

Without spending money on ads does put a bit of additional work on your plate but I believe in the long run will only help you to understand your target audiences better. Forums, google alerts, and social media can all be used to help find your audiences and allow you to start forming relationships. Engage your customers, make them feel more like a friend rather than some schmoe who is gonna support your lifestyle.

I enjoy designing tshirts as well. I am actually more in it to make and design my own clothes. Like being unique and having stuff others dont or cant get (not always financially related). I have sold a couple shirts here and there but it wasnt until I started getting my hands dirty and mingling with my target audience that I started to see some kind of interest.

Heck even if they dont want to buy the shirt/design they all are willing to help promote it for free. Retweets and likes and word of mouth, all because I established a relationship with them. Heck I even have a couple of people who like my designs enough that they approached me wanting to partner up, lol. Nothing better than having someone approach you, wanting to sell your shirts.

A bit of advice though, start looking into other platforms besides Teespring. They do have a great site and it is amazing in terms of ease of entry, but in the long run will not be rewarding to you unless you continue to work and or invest time and money.

Use Teespring and other platforms as a means to see what people will actually pay for before spending your own money to maintain a site where you host those shirts. They are out there and believe me there are plenty of them.
