How to preserve affiliate cookie through emails?

Hey guys,
I have got a new product on Clickbank that's doing well, and I am now ready to get affiliates on board.

But I have a deep funnel for the product and since affiliates would be sending traffic to my opt-in page, I want to preserve their affiliate cookie/url in my email marketing so they get the commission they deserve.

Does anyone know of any email marketing software/service that will preserve the url/cookie of the affiliate?

(Note: Please don't write idiotic responses like "Have you tried aweber?!")

There should be something out there since many top CB vendors have a funnel that pre-sells before making the sale, and they make sure that affiliate get the credit where due.

Any leads?

Thanks

It's fairly easy if you have a little bit of experience coding and you have the relevant information from clickbank.

I don't remember how clickbank has their tracking setup since it's been so long since I've worked with them, but this should apply for most networks.

Ask clickbank what variable you should use to pass a Sub ID. After you have that, you can write a simple script to grab the SID from the url, and pass it into the database when they opt in.

You'll need to go into your autoresponder and create a custom field to store that SID. You will than use the custom fields variable in the email that you send - Most likely placed at the end of the url for the offer.

For instance - If someone signs up on your page and the url is youroffer.com/special/?sid=111 - The custom script will capture the "111" which is in reference to a unique affiliate. It will be stored in your autoresponders custom field.

When you write your email, your link should look like this -

    "If you're interested in your free trial, please click here - youroffer.com/special/?sid={custom field name}

Within the curly brackets represents the variable sid. It will fill that in, and the link they click on will turn into the original link they signed up with.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, spend $50 bucks and hire someone to setup it for you.

The cookie will be set in a visitor's browser when they go through your affiliate link to the squeeze page.

So after that, as long as you use a regular product URL (not a hoplink) in your email promotions, affiliates will get credited as normal, because the cookie has been set when the visitor landed on your squeeze page.

That's of course assuming that your squeeze page is the main URL of the product, where visitors land after going through a hoplink.

    Does that make sense?
