When you guys get people into your list after the first few email sequence do you then start giving free content away to your list to help build credibility? I am new to email marketing and have recently decided to invest in solo ads. I just want to figure out the best strategy. Also, how big of a list do I need to be able to make say $100 a day with just affiliate marketing and not solo ad selling? Thanks

What are you selling? At what price point? If you're offering a product paying $100 commission, you only have to make one sale. If it's $10, you need 10. This will affect your funnel numbers.

Your questions can all be answered, "You will have to figure these out for YOUR situation."

I realize that is frustrating. But there are no fixed numbers or guaranteed solutions.

It's good that you are looking at the math, rather than just throwing money at it blindly.

You need to test your list for responsiveness. I would say you need to pre-sell anything in an e-mail sequence. Do not promote until the second or third e-mail in the sequence. When you do promote, check to see click-through rates and unsubscribes compared to when you do not promote.

Also, you need to segment your list into buyers and freebie seekers. It is okay to use solo ads to make a return from your freebie seekers but NEVER from your buyers. Treat them like gold, they are worth that much to you.

The amount you can make off your list depends entirely on you and your approach. There is no real answer to your question on how big a list you need to make $100. If it is a responsive list, not many. If it is not responsive, it doesn't matter how many subs you have if they don't click through.

I am just starting list building now. I just bought 200 clicks on a solo ad by a top solo seller. I want to sell solo's as well. I am just trying to figure out the right sequence of emails. When to start throwing content info out there. I want to sell a bunch of products, not just one.

How hard is email marketing? The only times I have made money was through direct linking. I prob only made $5,000 in my whole off and on affiliate career. Email is obviously a lot more lucrative.

You need to figure out what niche you want to be in. Promote related offers only. No good promoting google sniper one day, then info on how to train your dog the next for example.

As I said before, DO NOT use your buyers list for solo ad income, you will lose a lot of them.

Also, only promote one thing at a time, in a mini e-mail sequence.

I think you should get your autoresponder sequence set up before you start buying solo ads. Figure out your strategy before throwing money at it.

My advice-stick to a sub-niche in IM such as list building, paid traffic, free traffic, blogging, and the list goes on.

Plenty of products on CB in all of those sub-niches for you to promote.

I set up a 3 email sequence but right now I am trying to figure out how to give them free content once it is over so i can slowly promote multiple products at once. It is a bit of a head ache. How hard can email marketing be? lol

Here is a free tip for you. Pick a product to promote. Send two e-mails related to the product and the problem it solves (identify the problem, then agitate it) then on the third e-mail give them the solution to their problem (your offer).

Repeat for the next product you want to promote.

It is very important to figure out how many emails you are going to send, how often or far apart and the message of each one. Remember to include content in the email and not just hey, look at my offer. You want to be a welcomed guest not an unwelcomed pest.

So after I do a three email swipe follow up. The future emails that I send should be through broadcast or should I do a really long auto responder series
