A few months ago, I posted a thread asking for help in starting up a marketing group. A lot of people suggested I research local businesses and choose a few select skills/services to offer. So, I researched around and came to the conclusion that it would be unsuccessful to start marketing in my area...as most businesses are very small and there are only really 3 main types of industry here..hair salons, ethnic restaurants and drycleaners. Plus the idea didn't "excite" me and make me eager to get started and work, as the market seemed so over-saturated

Now I have had the idea of creating a digital marketing firm that deals with businesses in the Middle East or Western brands that want to expand into the Arab world. I have researched very thoroughly and, unlike typical marketing firms, the competition is very low (only 1 company is following the same concept as I am and they appeal to international agencies rather than directly to businesses)
I am excited about this idea..I think it has potential and you need to be aware of the culture in the MENA region to carry this out, which I am very accustomed to.
However, I was wondering if the services I am planning to offer are varied enough and good ideas? Are there too many for the start of my company? Also, I have no idea how to price each one...whether it be fixed or varied according to each client.

The services are:

-Outsourced Arabic PPC
-Geotargeting
-Email Marketing
-SEO
-Social Media Management
-Content Marketing

I am unsure of if to add the creation of Arabic landing pages and copywriting to the list

I appreciate any advice...thank you!

I think the most important thing you can do is to get started. Test out your marketplace using the old " suck it and see " philosophy to see what reaction your initial marketing attempts produce. Then scale from there using a leverage approach.

Set yourself a modest budget and analise your results to see what works and what doesn't. But if you don't " dip your toes in the water " you'll never know if your ideas are sound or not. Go for it and good luck

Thank you for your advice..sometimes you need to hear what you've been thinking from another person before acting on it. I think I will get started properly right now!

The most important step is to take action. Give it a try. Start small and see if something works. I would say it is worth considering why no one else seems to be offering the service. It could be that you are truely on the dawn of an undiscovered market, it could also be that the market is very small for your services.

Either way, take a step, try, learn and try again.

    Good luck!

Exactly...I've got nothing but time to lose and everything to gain. I hope that's the case and it is a success. Thank you so much for your reply!
