How to Promote a Migraine Product?

Thank you very much for your compliments, as for conversions I only received the website last week however the previous owner (my friend) told me conversions used to be about 1/30 however I had a sale today with little promotion and little traffic so conversions are currently very good and with our split testing, they shall just be improving more and more.

I will however ask my friend for any stats he may have from the previous account, just to make this more official. If not I shall post my own up soon.

Hello, thank you for your comments. As for the sales page copy, I have had several comments about this so this will be my main focus for tomorrow. I will be going through every bit of the sales copy tomorrow and tweaking it here and there to make it clearer to the customer about what this product actually is and what it does.

We do provide our affiliates with absolutely everything we can, and we are currently developing more resources for the affiliates page which will be available soon.

Hello Sheryl, the commission is 70% of $37 and we also have a back end product which we are currently setting up, however we still have some choices on how to do this.

It won't show in Clickbank market for another couple of days, because although its been accepted and you can sell it, you add the product to the marketplace after its been verified as a legitmate product. Stupid really, but anyways, it should show up in the market place by Friday I would assume.

Great to hear you would be interested in the Aff newsletter, makes it so much easier. It will be optional sign up because I hate those publishers who make it forced so affs can get resources, its a joke.

I will be taking a look today myself, because personally I never touched the sales copy yet as I only bought the site last week so I will be seeing if I can tweak it and make it better myself first, then the copy writer will be starting soon.

Thank you tknoppe, I appreciate your comments very much considering your my target market. It seems although my affiliate resources are brilliant from the target markets point of view the sales copy has something left to be desired. As I mentioned before we are now organising a copywriter to go through the page and alter/tweak it.

However one important note I want to make is I don't want to over sell this product, I don't want to put any false claims in the sales copy and I don't want people to purchase something they are not expecting.

My aim with the sales copy is to tell it how it is, however angle it from a sales perspective because obviously I want to sell some.

We shall be split testing several sales copy pages over the next couple of weeks. One written/tweaked by myself, and another by a professional copywriter. I would be very interested in your comments when its done too.

Thanks Rezbi, I much prefer it I shall add this today, perhaps with a couple of tweaks but excellent work.

@TheZone, unfortunately when you purchase a website that is already live on Clickbank you have to take the whole site down, exchange hands and put the site back up. I am probably right in saying that the customer purchased the product during this exchange period thus being why they did not receive the product straight away. Considering it is all automated through clickbank and has to be tested to work before Clickbank verifies you. Thank you for that though, although I didn't own the product then I do want to know what his feedback is so I shall be contacting them today.

I think I know which Squidoo page your on about, I came across it yesterday and yes I agree it is too transparent however I think this may be sorted when we change the sales copy. Thank you for your feedback its all appreciated.

The testimonials are real, the names are fake as I do not want to put their real names in to the testimonials just well I don't like to. However I can assure you the testimonials are real and are from some previous test buyers my friend has set up.

Thank you everyone, so much for your feedback. I try and answer and explain everyones comments and criticism and I don't believe that any criticsm is bad unless its plain insulting lol. Anyways I really do appreciate this and I hope that you jump on board the product.

The affiliate newsletter is going to be set up today as an option opt in, as I don't believe in forcing Affiliates to sign up just to get the resources they need to make their lives easier. At the end of the day I am here to make the affiliates lives as easy as possible and make them convert as quickly as possible, as I mentioned this is my first product and I still promote several other peoples products so I know all too well whats its like being an Affiliate.

If you do subscribe to the newsletter though, what you would receive is tips and techniques, when I think of them or read about them, new promotional material when its created, entry in to any competitions we have going on and much more.
