[Warrior QUIZ/SURVEY] What Are Your 3 Best Converting (Paid) Traffic Sources?

Hey Warriors,

Would You Share Your 3 Best Converting (Paid) Traffic Sources?

Notice I said best converting... I know... I know... you might be an expert already, but some marketers still don't know the difference...

And then, some major corporations only care about "branding" not conversion, that's why highway billboards keep selling HOT, even though is almost impossible to track ROI.

Anyhow...

Here are 3 of my best paid (converting sources).

1) Exoclick.com
2) Advertising.com
3) Facebook Ads (PE + Website Conversions)

If you have an offer that converts... those 3 traffic networks will work great for you.

Ok... tell me yours...

cheers
Peter

It entirely depends on where one's customers are.

I personally have great results with Adwords on one site ... Facebook on another .. and grinding on related forums on yet another.

You can't "narrow down" great sources of "high converting" traffic. It entirely depends on your audience.

      That makes sense...

But in the case of Facebook... don't you think most of the online world have an account there?

That could also be said of Exoclick, which can reach any mobile user in the world...

I guess what I'm trying to say, there are specific traffic sources like WF - for internet marketers... and then huge sources like Facebook that can get targeted to any interest and shopping behavior available...

      That's very interesting...

Are you familiar with Bob Ross, or Jake... he has a very unique postcard system for local businesses...

I'm curious... do you upsell your clients (to high end programs) with Postcards?

If you have a bonus page with amazing bonuses, i bet almost every traffic source will convert, but i like Facebook the most.

      Thanks Tobias...

I'm use to bonus pages for affiliate offers.... can you explain how you use your bonus strategy beyond that?

        Peter,

To my way of thinking, the question you're asking would make sense if we were all marketing to the same crowd. But because we're not, because we're all trying to find the best conversions for our own audience, it makes little sense to ask where someone in a different niche is finding the best conversions so that you can use that same source.

No, Facebook is not universal. In some niches Facebook gives lousy results for monetizing traffic.

In one of my niches, a very niche-specific magazine rents their subscriber list and that has been my best source of conversions in that niche. But if you tried to use it for marketing outside the niche I'm sure you would say it's a useless resource.

Bottom line, IMO, is this: You have to track and test for maximum conversions within your own niche. Where someone else advertises successfully has absolutely no bearing on where you should advertise.

Thank you Steve... I agree with some things you said, and I LOVE your bottom line point!

But I have to disagree concerning Facebook...

In my experience, there are only lousy pre-framing ads, landing pages and offers... if I can pre-frame well... hook well... then I can capture the attention of anyone of Facebook... that is ultimately looking for what I offer.

          cheers

            Peter,

What you're saying about Facebook may certainly be true for your niche. But for several of mine, which I have tested extensively, Facebook signups don't end up buying (monetizing) nearly as well as traffic from other sources.

Maybe if all you care about is putting people on a list, perhaps FB is the ultimate source - I really don't know because that has never been my goal. I am in business to make money.

              That's fine Steve...

Of course I meant making money from Facebook... I don't think any marketer in his right mind that will build a list for any other reason...

Even non-profits and charities, they build lists because they are after donations.

              cheers

    Three best in conversion:
    • blog ads
    • bing ads
    • sad words

I was once a big user of sad words, but not any more.

They use the quality score. It is a real pain.

    Also, they are very expensive.

Frankly, I use to use craigs list ages ago. Yeah, they were free, but now they got rid of the click able links and I always did get poor conversions. I still use back page. They have click able links, but once again poor conversion.

Best is a laser targeted blog with superior conversion.

Peter he is referring to ADWORDS on the google platform, which is the same - Google AdWords | Google (PPC) Pay-Per-Click Online Advertising

but I lol'ed at the reference 'sad words'. Believe it or not, when i first started using G-adwords could get PPC for about 0.002 cents a click. No joke, now they are strict and you are flat out getting cheap clicks there nowadays. Some companies will even pay $10 and more a click, as they are building lists, and losing on teh front end. But making up for it in the back end. One of my clients was actually doing about $15 a click. WHOA!, but he was still profitable. So there are pros and cons I guess.

BING and FACEBOOK, have more bang for bucks today. And are not anywhere near as strict as GOOGLE sad words. The thing is google does get higher quality sometimes. But its up to you and your niche.

        Hope this helps.

Most of my best converting traffic sources are free, but in my experience the "3 Best Converting (Paid) Traffic Sources" have always been:

          1) Solo ads in niche-relevant ezines

          2) Newspaper classified ads

          3) Postcard marketing
