Hello,

Many of you have 3,4,5,6,7 years and much more experience in IM world. What you would do different when you started Internet Marketing? Or in other words, what you would do if you just starting out (with all your experience).

I would focus on product creation right out of the gate.

A ton of people say "but newbies can't create products!"

    But in my honest opinion...

Just about everyone has something to share with the world.

Classics like building a list, creating an audience, finding my own voice, learning to find out more about the market (their fears, frustrations and insecurities) and creating my own products.

Jumping form one thing to the next is probably the biggest single mistake. All the methods you find here typically work, it's just that no one has the patience and persistence to stick to one thing - do the time - and push through the failure to get there.

I guess what I'm saying is you got to make the mistakes, do the time and find out what works for you. You can never do that when you jump from one thing to the next.

I would use Social network, especially facebook, to get free traffic to my blog!
This is an almost free system that I recently start to use!

    Hello my friend

I have been trying to make money online for 10 years. I approached the task with a cavalier attitude, swayed by the hype of so many guys who had all the answers, who could make me millions at the touch of a button, who promised me untold riches if I bought their sure fire products. Guess what? They were LIARS. Dirty rotten dcoundrels who would rob their own mother blind.

When the product or advice didn't work for me, I jumped ship and moved on to the next
" shiny object " offered to me by these so-called " gurus "

Whatever I did - nothing worked for me. Then earlier this year, I was advised to get a mentor. Someone who had been through the mill and guide me in the right direction. I found that person, purely by accident. I nearly joined him in 2008 when he was starting out. Today he is making over $300000 per month and his students are beginning to follow suit.

If any members want more details then please PM me. I will happily point you in the right direction.

Instead of being a compulsive buyer, I am now a HAPPY SELLER. Instead of me maxing out my credit cards, I no longer need those facilities.

I now have access to the right resources. No more stupidity on my part falling for the outright and frustrating lies.

I would advise EVERYONE - Get a Mentor. Don't go it alone. Look for someone with integrity and who shoots from the hip. You'll save a fortune in lost time and money.

    Al

I would focus on the consistency of building my professional network. I'm an introvert that types really fast and is obsessed with algorithms and coding. So this didn't come naturally, it was definitely something I had to work on. Once I started to reach out to people, I started seeing more results. I also got a sales job too, this helped with my awkward social skills.

Use OnePageCRM to manage your professional relationships, and make it a point to send one e-mail a day or linkedin mail to a new person that you want to develop a professional relationship with. Follow-ups are mainly done on "feel". When you build up your network, your net worth will increase substantially.

Speaking of network, this is going to be controversial advice, but I would delete my Facebook/Instagram, and only stay in contact with people I talk to regularly, or want to talk to regularly. I would only re-open it as a place to build my personal brand, otherwise it's a waste of time just watching everyone else's life through a window.

    Naviown,

What you fail to understand is that there are as many starting points as there are ways to make money. We are all different, bring different skills and abilities to the table, and we all have different likes, passions, and goals.

So we all start from different places and what someone else does or fails to do has no bearing on what you should or shouldn't do. Creating a business is about the journey and not where you start or end.

Comparing yourself or your situation or what you might accomplish to what others have done is a losing game. Strike out on your own path and create the future you want.

I would focus on a single thing and make sure it is successful before moving on. I wasted years as an "idea guy" who had no follow-through.

It really is the follow through and hustle that sets apart those that are successful from those that are not.
