    If it does not already exist, create a file at the same directory level as your index.html, called .htaccess (filename begins with a dot)

    Put the following lines in it:
    Redirect 301 /index.html http://domain.com/zencart
    Redirect 301 / http://domain.com/zencart

    This will cause a permanent redirect from your home page to your zen cart

    Edit the .htaccess file in your root folder and add this:

    Redirect 301 /index.html http://www.yourdomain.com/zen/index.html

    Just install zen-cart at your root yourdomain.com and not in
    a folder. Make sure you don't have an index.htm or index.html file
    there and zen-cart will be your main url.
