Walk me through your typical IM day

Kind of a spin-off of my other newbie thread, I think it's also helpful to understand the nature and mannerisms of experienced IM'ers. So if you don't mind, what does your typical day look like?

For example

9:00 am - breakfast/coffee
10:00 am - write a blog entry/post to facebook page
11:00 am - collect emails/send out newsletter
etc
etc
1:00 pm - eat and nap
etc
etc
3:00 pm - pick up son/daughter, hang out with them
etc
etc
6:00 pm - read forums/research marketing methods

Obviously it doesn't have to be in that exact format, but any way you can shed some light on how you balance your time, and what you do with your time would be extremely helpful. Thanks.

    Here is my daily schedule:

Wake up at 8-8:30 (I don't use an alarm, so this varies)
    Work out
Learn something new (do this every day)

    Lunch at about 11:45.

Check email, then work on current business goal until about 4:00

After that, I Meet up with friends, go out for dinner, or do something fun.

When I get home I Meditate/Read and then fall asleep.

Not precise, but this is an average day.

There are times when I block out entire days to learn a new skill, go to a seminar, or just avoid work altogether.

Thanks, the actual work details are very helpful, because I'm not sure how much time is spent on each working task.

  • Personally, I sleep well, otherwise I'm less productive during the day.

I do work. To me, this is valuable and keeps me informed about what's going on outside the IM space.

On a good day, I get a couple of productive hours in before work, spend time during the journeys thinking and compiling and then put what I've decided into practice when I get home.
