What is the Best way to Build a Paid and Free Membership Site. Would it be wordpress plugins? I want to build a new site that members can get free info but if they want the good stuff they have to buy the product or be a member to get everything for free

    I don't really want to outsource it. I would rather build my self, but im asking the warriors what would be the best plat form for this

        With Wishlist member you can create several different levels, from free up to what you want.
        If you want to have a Wordpress membership, Wishlist Member is solid. However, I found it to be a bit resource intensive (as is Wordpress). I recently switched from using Wishlist Member and Wordpress to a forum for my site setup. It is much easier that way to maintain a free area and a paid private area.

        I went with IP Board and cannot recommend it enough.

          I was checking out ip board and i really like it, but the only problem is how many active users you can have is very low and it cost a lot, is there anything else like this "Ip board"?

            Use the self-hosted option, not the cloud hosting they provide. You will need their Commerce solution to integrate a paid membership area. It is $250 one-time and you can have as many users as you want.
