How much would you pay for this video?

My son has been doing these "cartoon" videos for his YouTube channel
for some time now, so I decided to give him an audio script and see what
he came up with. And this is it. My idea was that he could make some
money on Fiverr (or better) to help fund his college education starting this
Fall. Let me know what you think.

    It's not bad, not really in line with the style most of these videos have today though.

    Looks fairly typical of a designer with limited experience. Probably not much of a market for it. He needs to polish his graphic design skills. The characters and backgrounds aren't there yet.

      Yes I thought the graphics could be a little fancier too. But I would use
      'prepared graphics' rather than draw everything from scratch as he did.

    Pretty amazing that the with only two eyes he was able have the character be sad, angry, frustrated, etc.

    There might be certain niches that his style would be particularly suited to.

    I have no idea about the question "how much" since I have not bought video creation for 6 or 7 years.

    Yes, I think he could give fiverr a shot.

    Fivver is not a bad idea and its not only $5 service website keep this tip in mind he can make more then 50 for one video cheers.

    I think he would have a easier time marketing his services to a more artistic/ creative market.

    Artist,musicians, and game developers will appreciate this alot more than internet marketers.

    Internet marketers 90% of the time are just going to model how they promote themselves based upon what they see is already working or mainstream tactics.

    This animation style is too different from traditional explainer videos to be marketable.

    However again musicians, game developers, artists are usually looking for alternative visuals and animations.

    It’s not bad at all, on the contrary. I’m an animator (mostly 3D) and I like simple, clear (and even minimalistic) animations for use in explainer video’s. I think he’ll do just fine on Fiverr. I give it a thumbs up.

      It seems a lot depends on the perception of the viewers more than the skill
      of the animator. This took him about 20 hrs to complete so some shortcut
      would have to be used (template?) to make this feasible for Fiverr.

    Yeah, I think he could make money on Fiverr with that. He could come up with different characters, give them individual names, and I think the chance is good that one or more of his characters would be very popular and bring in some steady orders.

    Like Janice what impressed me most was his manipulation of the eyes to suddenly change emotion of the character.

        Honestly is the best policy. On some systems I always throw up red flags as I do business in Asia and my address and phone numbers are based in the UK where I am from.
        If youre honest and upfront, you will not get caught out and they may be able to assist you.
