US phone number

INTERNET MARKETING

Hello dear warrrior forum members.
I come from Europe.
Since I'm offering services internationally, I'd like to have a US phone number.
Should it be VOIP? Maybe a distant assistant service? A toll-free number? I don't know how I can do it.
Can you suggest any solutions/technologies/service providers? I'm looking for a cost effective solutions.

  So,the results on the first page of google for people selling/providing us numbers is not a solution to your issue of wanting a us number? Where do you think we get our information from the warrior forum fairies?
  
  If you do not want to do your own research then just sit and wait. And remember anyone here that gives you an answer probably got that information from google

Skype has a service like that. A US number is something like $15 every 3 months. It is cheaper if you also have a calling subscription.

Buy a USA number on Twilio and forward the call to your usual phone number.
Costs $1 per month for a number + whatever the call costs.

We have a toll free number and a Skype US number (not toll free), benefits are:

Skype - very cost effective.
Toll free - attracts idiots wanting information with no intention on making a purchase!

We dropped the tollfree numbers.

There are some site, where provide this service. You can use virtual US number. You can use Googletalk/ Hangout. Here you will be able to assign a number. Even you can use SKYPE. It is more convenient way to talk. There all are the VOIP service provider. Thanks

I second what Johns says....Why don't you make your calls through Skype or some other VOIP (voice over internet protocol)

That's what I use for ALL of my business dealings....cell phone for personal
