Advice on growing a blog? Appreciate it :)

I've recently started up a blog chosen from market/niche research on my own and I was wondering if any warriors had some advice/insights/experience on how to expand it?

Particularly... social media marketing, actual content marketing/blogging and perhaps monetization of blogs.

Did any books or resources or courses help you? I'd particularly prefer advice that is outside of the financial niche, because then it'll be much easier to follow.

The kind I am looking at is a solid business model, not some of those micro-blogs. I intend to grow this blog from my passion, post by post.

Also, I realize that I won't be able to do it alone, so I was wondering if anyone had experience with hiring people or using tools to do marketing for things such as social media marketing (instagram, twitter, facebook)...

Other details I've done:
- Wordpress installation on bluehost
- Already did the branding stuff, with appropriate copywriting
- Monetization ideas (squeeze, adsense, affiliate recommendations)
- Yoast SEO plugin with onpage optimization

    Hi!

    I would just focus on one thing at at time as you build out your processes.

    I would start with strategizing on how to promote your content and who your readers (buyers) are before starting with content creation.

    That would eliminate a lot of trials and errors.

    Build out the process for that, hire someone to help out with formatting and promotion then from there, you can focus on the next part, probably things that would build your community.

      Hmm that's the thing I've worried about, building the community. I've posted a few things but I'll just say that I'm not too well-versed in promoting posts. I've been thinking of social media marketing to solve it, that's why I was asking for help or resources.

        Traction is a really good book.

        Cool info at the start, and goes on to list about 19 different traffic strategies.

        I think it says mess around with a few, but focus on one when you see results until it stops working.
