Gaining followers on social media and engaging with them driving them to your blog by delivering the latest news on tech market at the earliest to them is enough to promote a new tech blog.

Have you tried reddit, tumblr, blog commenting?

Update your blog continuously, Create some guest post on high pr American sites. Always make comments on USA blog and forum sites.

There are many ways to promote your blog. You can do some relevant blog commenting, Forum posting, Article submission. Beside these, you can use the Social Media site to get a good result. Just google 100 ways to increase blog traffic or similar words. I did that and even came across a free ebook on the subject.

If you know how manage AdWords I ensure you will not spend so much!

However could try free method to get traffic as promote throught social networks, youtube, post on blog, forums....

Get popular on social media. Make sure you're sharing valuable content and adding relevant friends in your niche. It's going to take some time, but it works. Focus on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIN. Possibly Instagram depending on your audience.

Update your Blogsite with quality content then promote it in your social media regularly.

Find blogs in your niche that already have an audience and write for them. You can also post on forums, and other forms of social media to grow your blog. You may also want to write articles that target the keywords in your niche with a fair amount of search volume and low competition. Keep all content unique and relevant and you will grow.

When it comes to generating traffic - there are many ways to get it. The real question is; how bad do you want to get this traffic? ... and do you have what it takes?

As I already mentioned, the challenge is not in learning traffic generation methods, because you can learn them with no problem. The real challenge in the work you have to put in!

It will take a lot of time and effort to build up a good daily traffic flow. Do not come into this arena expecting results over night and fast traffic. Because if you do, you are going to set yourself up for frustration.

You need to have a strong discipline and will power to do the necessary work on a daily basis and until you get the results you are looking for! ... until then, you should not complain and look for a shortcut!

Unless you have thousands to play with paid traffic. You have to put in the consistent work with the free methods!

How do you plan on making money from your blog? Sure promoting it and using social media to get alot of traffic is fine, but if it doesn't make you any money.... what good is it? I see you have an "advertise" link on your toolbar at the top of your page, but WHO are you targeting?

Join different facebook groups for your niche and start writing some good advice and add in your blog if they want more info. It's a great strategy
