Product Launch Funnel Opt-in question

Hi!
I am new to this and have a quick question about setting up Launch Funnels.
I currently use Mailchimp.

If I have a couple different funnels for 2 different products, should each funnel have their own separate email list?
If so, that means that I could have the same email on various lists which would potentially bump up the price of my Mailchimp subscription quite a bit, right?

Is there a better solution that the one I just described?

I would advise to use automation feature in your account. For example, when a person subscribed to one list, then he should get a series of emails related to optin offer. But, after some time, same person subscribes to other list then automation rules will remove him from previous list.

In this way, you can keep your cost low. But, it also depends on, how your funnel is set up.... single or concurrent funnels.

Keep it simple. Do 1 funnel for 1 product first. Test it with ads. If it keeps failing, then trying the other funnel. If that fails try the other product. Do not have a bunch of funnels and products, ESPECIALLY if you're new! Saved you a lot of time and money there!

Focus on the important thing of testing traffic.

    Cheers!

If you has different products from different niches you need separated mail boxes in, of course, separate landing pages!

With an autoresponder you can build different mailinglist!

I think you're focus is way off.

This isn't about Product Launch Funnels at all.

Segmented lists allow you to target your marketing messages to just those who have already expressed an interest in the topic. You were smart enough to set it up that way in the first place, so I'll assume that you already knew that.

That list should be much more responsive than a general "combined" list of optins.

Will you have duplication? Potentially, assuming that everyone on each of those lists "asked" to be there... where's the rub? The extra cost of having someone on 2 different lists?

First, unless the level of duplication is enormous the incremental cost should be negligible and the extra responsiveness (open and click through rates, and conversions) should more than cover the extra cost.

    Only you know that.

As mentioned above, you should have an automated way to move the buyers to a new list, so some part of the duplication will presumably correct itself.

You mentioned that these were both "launch funnels". Launches are short lived so once the launch period has passed you could conceivably get rid of the duplication by combining the lists into a general list at that time.

In the meantime, the extra costs of duplication should not be a problem. Each of those segmented lists should be "paying their own way".

Each should be giving you an ROI that exceeds the cost of maintaining the list itself. If not, you need to be looking at ways to make more money from each list rather than looking for ways to save a few pennies because of duplication.
