Solo Ads Vs. Affiliate Products (Your Opinion)

Hey every body this post is maybe more of an opinion. I am wondering what you guys feel is a more profitable way to go.
Build a list and sell solo ads
Or
Build a list and promote affiliate offers(cpa, click bank, wso, jvzoo, etc.)
In my option it depends on how you are building that list. But I want you to only tell me your option based on building this list with solo ads.
I know some people build their lists with solo ads only to sell solo ads
And others build the list through solo ads offering an OTO (one time offer) and are more focused on building a buyers list to promote products too.
I only have experience in the first example but am curious to know about anyone one who uses the second business model.
What do you guys do with the remaining leads that dnt buy??? Or are you too selling solo ads once you realize these guys dnt buy... And just separating buyers from leads...

    The niche might also play a role along with how you're building the list. Although I've developed websites in the past for the sole purpose of selling links (solo) on them and stuff, I've always been more of an affiliate fan when it comes to the advertising space. I would say it's the same with mailing. It's either something I've made and am selling, or an affiliate product.

    Yes, "it depends on how you are building that list".
    But I think best method is affiliate products (CPA, Clickbank, JvZoo....).
    Use Solo ads if you have already a good experience!
    If not you should do test with a small list

    Hands down building your own list, way more responsive than solo ads and you can actually build long-term relationship with them.

    In the solo ads business you won´t be making as much money as being an affiliate

    beside you have to be dealing with partners.
