Can I get back my money?

Hi all,
I am sorry to post this here, but really in trouble, so if you can help me ...
I have done a great fault. Yesterday, I sent $70 from Paypal to a person to get some things. I used "send money to friends and family" option to send him.
After sending money, I don't get any response from him. He just ignored me, no response. Now what can I do? It was my first earning from an affiliate network.
I just created a dispute after 5 hours of sending money. Can I get back the money?
If he already withdraw or send the fund to another account, will I get back money?
And his account was not verified and I used "send money to friends and family" option to send money.

Please, respond soon. I am really hopeless. Why people cheat with other peoples, I don't know. Please, wish your reply.

When you file a dispute through Paypal, the money is automatically frozen in their account. If they already withdrew the money, their balance goes in the negative.

Not a problem. I can easily put myself in your shoes. About a year ago I had to file a dispute with Paypal because a seller wasn't responding to my emails. Fortunately, he eventually did respond and I was able to get what I had ordered.

Give paypal a call and tell them about your situation.

    They will expedite it.

It is the main problem, that you used the Friends & Family option. So there is no dispute option, because you did not purchase any product or, service. You should contact to the Help Desk of the Paypal. I am really shocking to hear your sad news. very sad. Nowadays the number of Scam is increasing day by day.

Paypal recently expanded their coverage to include digital products. And if this person really did rip you off and it simply isn't a misunderstanding, they probably have a history of doing it to other people. This means that Paypal will likely side with you.

If it's a huge amount of money to you - WHY did you send it to someone?

Sounds a lot like the problem in the thread below from last week:

        http://www.warriorforum.com/off-topi...me-before.html

So - what were you buying with $70 - and if you couldn't afford it, why would you send it? Because you sent it friends and family there is little chance of getting it back if it was a scam.

If you were buying ebooks - why create a "dispute" so quickly? Could it be a time zone difference or something else that would keep the person from sending your purchased immediately? Something doesn't sound right.

Well I agree with Kay here.....seems you are using a fake account to start with and then you get scammed .....I just don't get it , sorry.....

I guess the good news is that you are making (some) money online, now just keep doing that but use your head. Make sure you join affiliate programs honestly, some will restrict you cause of your country...but then again that is to protect their advertisers. Many US products and offers are not available outside the US

There are international affiliate companies and international payment means so be sure you do follow them. Good luck

When I was in USA, I created that Paypal. Generally I use Payoneer Mastercard. There are very few affiliate networks that don't accept Bangladesh. I am aware of that.
I just work on those which accept Bangladesh, it's simple.

Actually, if you re-read his original post and infer a little, he EARNED the money as an affiliate, then SPENT the money on PayPal.

Ah, ok, thanks. Considering he's already stated that he somehow verified the PayPal account as American, even though he's in Bangladesh, (which sure doesn't smell right), I was concerned that there were yet more problems with the original transaction.

Years ago, when I was managing an affiliate program myself, I'd have people attempt to do things like make $8,000 purchases (on stolen credit cards, of course) and then try to claim $800 in affiliate earnings. What they didn't realize was that my shopping cart wasn't as automatic as it had appeared, and anything that fell outside of a very tight range of "normalcy" was reviewed by hand before ever submitting anything to the merchant account.

nahid7, I am really shocking after hearing this hateful event. I think, you may not get the money back. because you used the Friends & Family option & the recipients ID was not verified. I am sure the recipients transfer the money to the other account, after getting form you.

It is the only way for you to contact with the PAYPAL help desk. Thanks

While it is bad news if you have been scammed, how can you be so sure? You only gave the seller 5 hours to deliver the e-books. Maybe they are inexperienced and are doing it manually. Maybe they are in a different time zone, sleeping or simply busy? Don't be so quick to assume the worst of people.
